Dr. X, I warned everyone that it was a non-football related post.  Mostly I did it so that maybe JT would post it in his NJAC Blog.  Besides I don't have a football team to make fun of anymore and I consider soccer to be the root of what is wrong with America.

Welcome to the board. The game should be interesting. Montclair has a real good D and has problems scoring, with the exception of the Salisbury game. Our O line is very young. When we find some offense, we will then become more of a factor in the NJAC. A win this week will not be easy. I would like to see the MSU-Rowan game an important one, but we must take one game at a time. That game is in Wayne this Sat. I was going to mention the Record article, but JT beat me to it.

I would like to believe that this game will be a good one, but to me it just seems that anyone who seems to be struggling finds their bearings against WILLY P. As you said your Red Hawks have no Offense, the same goes for WPU, there is no running game, and the QB is only starting his 3rd college game, the recieving core is weak, and so is the right side of the line. If you take a look at the West Conn and KEAN games all they did was blitz the right side of the line, Honestly i do feel that they have improved, but they direction they are looking to go in is not going to happen this year, maybe next year or the year after.

This looks like its going to be a defensive ball game, but am still going to take MSU maybe by a TD or a field Goal.

The game is being played at Wightman Stadium in Wayne. Isn't that the area where all the flooding in Northern New Jersey is taking place because its been raining all week in the Northeast?

The WPU campus is on the hill, the flooding is on the way to the campus.

Yes, but WPU is on top a hill.  So it's not in the flood plane.  Plus they have field turf now.

The WPU game will be played, Like JT said they have field turf, If the rain does continue the field will have a lot of water on it...being that it is the lowest area on the campus

From what I know of these types of fields, and I'm not an expert, they are designed to drain well.

It will be much better than the mud hole it used to be when it was grass.
