In a game that Montclair was expected to win going away, they may have been keeping the playcalling simple so as not to put too much on video for future opponents.

I sure hope you are correct. I have been following Montclair for (10) years now. The Montclair "O" has always been predictable with the exception of the (2) years with D'Giralimo (talented, called audables to the difference of the coaches, created havoc and didn't like going to classes). Fisher is still a deer in the headlights, can't look off if his primary is covered, won't run when given the opportunity and doesn't appear to have his head in the game all the time. Believe me the Montclair "O" has a lot of potential this year. After the Rowan game, I hope to say I'm wrong.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

34-0 I'd say they weren't showing much.  Montclair could sleepwalk through the NEFC.

Great web site, excellent article on the game and +K for your reference to Sam Mills Stadium. Don't forget to stop by and say hey at the Train Station.

We will be at the station.  Sam Mills was one of my heroes.  He was friends with fellow LB Vince DeMarinis from Montclair St and my home town of Bergenfield. Vince was a star at Bergenfield HS.  I first emulated Vince, then Sam later on.  Both were training to make the Philly Stars of the USFL.  They were teammates in college. I delivered papers to the DeMarinis house.  I saw Sam a bunch of times... great guy.  Kinda like Superman because he was quite bookish out of uniform.

Both he and Sam won starting LB positions on the Stars.  Vince couldn't stay healthy.  I kept following Sam and met him a few times more after he made it.  He still remembered me.  I have no doubt he'd be a head coach in the NFL today.  Only the good die young.

Does anyone have any info on Cortland's injury to one of it's captains who left last weeks game?  Was at the game at Kean and Lou Crispo who plays on the defensive line limped off the field and didn't return.  Think he's a 5th year senior and would be a pretty significant loss if he's still out or not 100%.  Not sure how deep the team is on the D line.  The player that replaced him was pretty small relative to Crispo and seemed to be getting tossed around quite a bit by Kean's O line.  Hoping Crispo is ok and will return or if not, that Cortland has some options.

I won't be able to make it up to Cortland this week but it looks like there might be a video link on the Cortland website.  Haven't tried that yet but hoping it will work. Anyone know if the video streams are watchable or do they freeze up?  If so, will have to settle for listening to the game on line.

I understand that he has been practicing and will play.

That's good news thanks. Crossing my fingers he's close or at 100 percent. Nose guard while not a high profile position is I think critical for the success of their defense. Played well as Lou has done frees up the linebackers to make some big plays.

Wow....TCNJ loses to FDU.  Bad OOC loss for the NJAC.
