Already looking forward to the trip to Cortland next weekend and the inevitable trash talk this week.  Mouth breather, gym teacher, Neanderthal.  Dang, I blew a whole week's worth of material in one post!

Premature smack talker.  What an amateur.  ;)  Visualize some ugly women and slow down there fella.

Pelosi?  I know, I know, this isn't the politics board but it applies here!

I have to be really careful that's why I stayed vague.  I've been a good boy since early October as far as I can tell.  I am going to stay that way on the true football boards.

Thanks JT.  I'm new at this.  Are there some sites I can visit or some exercises I can do to help?

Revue old Liberty League posts.  This year was quite lame, but before that it was classic.  Read key weeks and rivalries from years past.  The Cortaca jug rooms are another good one.  They have all the good Cortland stuff.

...didn't mean to single out just Pat and the "Triple Take". It's been my opinion that the NJAC has been downgraded over time as a conference because of the struggles of its new members and its lack of out of conference games. Folks seem to forget that TCNJ, Rowan and Montclair couldn't get out of conference games and that Kean and WPU were conference pushovers not too long ago.

Unless NJ college football as a whole has slid, the top teams in the conference are as good as they normally are – just not on the level with the top 5 programs in the country. Limited roster sizes and no JV can only take you so far...
Rowan has played JV for about five years.  Which is one of the primary reasons different players found their way into the two-deep and Rowan kept getting better over the season. I am not sure if anyone else in the NJAC does.  The results are never published so I don't know who they play, its about a 6 game schedule.
Didn't know that JT. It's a heckuva secret... no matter how I Googled I couldn't come up with a hint of a hit regarding any NJAC school having a JV squad.

Hey ya'll sitting in traffic on the way home from HSC. First thing, beautiful stadium, place was packed, most people were  polite,(not student body tailgating) if I heard one more kid shout something stupid about Nj and that stupid Jersey Shore show I was going to lose it...However, a police officer gave me a hug while I paid for my ticket and said welcome...The game, HSC is really good, prob one of the best passing offenses I have seen in quite sometime. The took away our blitz by quick 3 step drops, wr and qb on same page at all times. Our offense played very well, QB had some major key throws to keep drives alive. HSC would put 40 points on Willy P. One hell of a game, and our players made big plays when needed. On to the next one!!!

Accorsi mentions it in passing from time-to-time, especially during his pregame show.  No other details except getting all kids some game experience.  But for Widener, I don't know any other opponents.

I am totally jazzed.  The cadet paratrooper just delivered the football.  Notre Dame vs. Army at Yankee Stadium... as it should be.  First time since 1969.  I think Army can cover the 8.  An upset would be insane.

MSU Pride

Forgot to mention, our defense, top to bottom played exceptional!!!

Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium is like the nexus of my least favorite things in all of sports.

I think Gattaca is where Jude Law and Ethan Hawke went to school.  They were on the swim team together.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

This is classic.  As a lover of history, this is great.  And Army finally got rid of those tools that tried to run the spread or pro offense and drove Army football into the ground.  Give me a cadet and a good coach can win with the triple option.

I watch DI, but really don't root for anyone, except the service academies. I live D3 football.  The family going back decades has either rooted for the service academies or Notre Dame.  I think Kelly can restore honor to Notre Dame... we'll see.

I'm rooting for Army tonight.

A pair of mediocre football teams playing at a 2-year old stadium is classic?  OK then.   :P

Congrats C-State.  A couple of observations:  This game was never in doubt; ever.  Offense played much better and and Pitcher was sharp.  Defense only gave up 21 points.  There were two defensive TDs for Endicott when the game was over, for all practical purposes.  The was a very strange coaching move on Cortland's 3rd possession that I have heard was scripted.  QB substitution Rose for Pitcher.  Now I understand that the backup needs to get some time but this was an odd time.  Cortland up 14-0, momentum, Pitcher playing well.  Move backfired.  Rose throws a pick...Endicott scores on their possession.  14-7.  Very strange.

Defense was stout against the run but secondary did not have best game and we didn't get much pressure on Endicott QB who is pretty good.  Endicott was game and played to the final horn.  No Question.  We get a good win but we are banged up in the process.  Number of injuries that I don't know enough about to comment on here.

HSC85

Congrats to Monclair State.  They played a very good game and made the plays that were needed to win the game.  Good luck in the rest of the playoffs.
