You better make sure a Category 2 hurricane isn't rumbling through before having a Scrimmage!!  I'm worried a little about the Northeast this weekend...

Hey buddy. Hope all is well and see ya at the Train Station on Sept 10th. Thanks for the info and +K. There was a great article in the preview about the recipe to overtake the pruple reign. Check it out. This could be the year to run the table. Fisher will need to step up and the coaching staff needs to learn the killer instinct and keep it going all year. Last year we were a deer in the headlights at Wesley. We must believe we can beat anybody any time. When I went to Alliance (2) years ago we were outmatched, but had no fear and did not play like deers in the headlights.

All I can say is 110-60 and "Keep Pounding" Take No Prisioners !!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Heard Cortland scrimmages Univ of Rochester Saturday in Rochester.  Anyone know the time?

ANYONE INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF THE 2011 TOP 25 FAN POLL, PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE WITH YOUR CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS. Now that Kickoff is out, I'd like to get our first poll out by the middle of next week.

I keep reading that Cortland is loaded. But the schedule says - at Rowan, at Montclair, and at Ithaca. That doesn't bode well for an NJAC championship / #1 seed.

If they win those 3 games, it will be an amazing accomplishment. Just based on the schedules, I think Rowan and Montclair will be tough to keep out of the league championship.

Any word on the Cortland Scrimmage?

#7777
Cortland dominated the scrimmage with approximate 10 TDs to none.  First team had a slow start but a strong 2nd qtr. after shaking the dust off.  Defense looked really good but in URs defense, they had only been practicing a week and Cortland was a whole week ahead of them.

UR could not match Cortlands depth. Cortlands 2nd and 3rd teams dominated.  Strong recruiting class.  Perhaps deepest this team has been in long time.  My biggest concern is OL as not very deep behind starters.  Some promising newcomers but really tough for Freshman OL to come up to speed.  Much to learn.

The offensive fireworks is great to hear!  Makes me wonder what UoR has this year?   I got 2 games down my way this year and I hope my HS schedule lets me get to the Montclair St. game!

Very happy to hear that the defense played well.  Was worried about losing Crispo anchoring the middle and Wyler on the end but sounds like the D remained strong.

U of R will start playing sometime around week #6 or #7 like in previous years  ;)...just jokes  :)

Another thing out of the Red and White and UofR scrimmages....we are filthy at running back.
Autera, Miles, Aston and remember the name....Bronson Greene (maybe not this year but remember the name).  Aston has probably gotten the most work in the scrimmages and has been outstanding.  If our OL can stay healthy...look out.

Newsflash..... Buff State BENGALS will do no less than 5-5. Remember you heard it hear first.  See you 11/6 ;)

dlip thinks this would be good for the NJAC as a whole. Considering the Bengals finished 6th last year and rode a three game win streak to the end, posing at least a .500 record in 2011 would mark a continued improvement since 2008. Good luck!
