Newsflash..... Buff State BENGALS will do no less than 5-5. Remember you heard it hear first.  See you 11/6 ;)

dlip thinks this would be good for the NJAC as a whole. Considering the Bengals finished 6th last year and rode a three game win streak to the end, posing at least a .500 record in 2011 would mark a continued improvement since 2008. Good luck!

I've always admired the Buff State program for some reason.  Playing at Buff State has this badass 1980s high school football feel.  Loud heavy metal/rap music during pregame,  urban backdrop.   Black and Orange unis, trash talking players, and always the hardest hitting, strongest players I ever faced.

I liked playing there even though I was 0-2.

And the WORST Press box I ever visited.  Hopefully they've renovated!

Rams does a good tailgate as long as a midget cop with an attitude doesn't try to shut you down. Man were we pissed, we had the gear for pancakes and eggs but had to scramble for Wendy's to get some food.  What an azzhole that cop was.  I've been tailgating in that NJ transit lot since 1988.

What a prick... never a problem in 20+ years.

All these Fond BENGALS memories have me thinking about making the 2 plus hour ride to Cortland this Sat.

P.s. Jonny.....Coach Boyes has toned down the pre game tunes GREATLY! It aint Beethovan yet..... but it aint Tupac either!!

Almost game time.  No better time of year in my humble opinion.  Time to pull the grill out tonight, clean it, pack the van with all the gear and head to Cortland for some good food, better drinks and hopefully a Red Dragon win!

Good luck to all the NJAC teams opening up this weekend.

Prediction: Cortland 35
                Buff State 10
This is pure "Homerism", but do any others have a gut feeling?
Taste It!

Re Cortland and following up on earlier post from another. Yes, RDragons have very talented look but already bothered by ailments. Running back hopefuls D. Myles and J. Aston among the hurting. Word has it Aston possibly done for the season. RB Bronson Greene already in the picture. Check out the freshman's potential on Google!! Fullback held down by Stony Brook jr transfer G. Beddoe from Southern Tier. Vets on 'O' line ......Defense building. Frosh to figure

Cortland is a very good team whether healthy or wounded. With the first game out of the box I have them -21.5 in the NJAC Pick-E'm. To me thats too much to cover even the #'s make sense. Good luck to your guys and the rest of the NJAC teams playing today.

Lycoming was a tough opponent for the bombers.  It doesn't matter what their record is, it seems like they are tough every year.
