Congrat's to Kean. Well Done. Way to reptresent the NJAC. Looks like an interesting season.

JT : I'm waiting for the burocracy on the hill to re-name Sprague Field to Sam Mills Stadium. I think I'll be holding my breath for a long time. At the game today I had my son-inlaw and Grand daughter with me. I said I'm a senior + an Alum. 5 for me and 8 for Jay. They said alums pay adult prices now. That sucks.  :o >:(

Hopefully, you weren't bothered by the Truman Capote sized cop while tailgating.  Even if I thought about going today, Mrs. JT knows the football schedule too, and out came the honey do list.  :P

Maybe after Montclair recycles the moron administration to a different bunch of morons.  After he gets in the Pro HOF, they'll look stupid if they don't name it after Sam.  Sam has the cred to get in, and you can compare his numbers favorably to LB's already in the Hall.

What I think is going to happen is that London Fletcher gets in, and since Sam was London before London was London, he goes shortly after in an off year.  Off year being when you don't have a bunch of locks getting in like 2010 - Russ Grimm, Rickey Jackson, John Randle, Jerry Rice, Emmitt Smith.  Yet 2010, still had two deserving hold overs in Dick LeBeau and Floyd Little.  You can consider LeBeau and Little very deserving, and where Sam Mills fits when he goes in to Canton.

Sam is in:

His HS HOF
Louisiana HOF
College Football HOF
Montclair St. HOF

And that statue of Sam outside of Carolina's stadium is a big deal.  Ain't to many pro's that have their own statue in front of the stadium.  Off the top of my head, I can't think of more than three.  Ted Williams and Stan Musial are the only other two I can name without going to google.

Canton is next.  He has been nominated and is on the list to be considered each year.

And Rickey Jackson wouldn't have been Rickey Jackson without Sam Mills in the middle IMHO.

The Cop must have been out buying elevated heals for his shoes. ;D Tailgating was good, no hassels. I'll talk more about the game tomorrow. I guess a win is a win. ::)

Big win for Kean! Lets hope for a great game at Cortland next week with a Red Dragon win.
Taste It!

congrats to kean on the win.  took advantage of all the mistakes wesley made and got the win.  rams1102, didnt see your post until i got back from the game, but you were on the money.  the qb has the ability to move and make things happen.  kean has a limited running game from what i saw today, do if teams can keep the qb in the pocket they will probably have trouble scoring.  their defense is pretty good, but the did give up over 400 total yards of offense today.  they made the plays when the had to, the strip at the end was the biggest.  will be interesting to see how they do the rest of the year.

thanks dlip.  no reason not to be, my son is done playing and from what i saw today, kean deserved to win.  wesley has a lot of work to do if they want to be in any playoff discussion this year.

You guys won the battle of the stats and lost the war. Their QB is a PIA. Drass is a good coach and will re-group the troops. A good learning experience. Hope to see both of us in the play-offs. ;)

4th quarter - Buffalo State 7 SJ Fisher 6 - Bengals trying to hold on with 4 minutes to play.  Interesting score to say the least.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

I thought there would be some Kean chirping here, but I guess not, welcome to the NJAC.

Back to the Red Hawk win, I was sort of disappointed. The "D" was awsome, gave up -0- points. D'Andrea was awsome and congrats. I did not have my perch on the 50 and up the top. Had my Granddaughter with my son-in law at the game. I did notice that Fisher is now part of the team and that is great. We choaked in the red zone twice. I think it's the play calling. What else is new. Time to get the killer instinct. !!!!!!!!

Interesting to say the least Dan. Alas my BENGALS couldnt pull this 1 off >:(  (giving up a score with 2:03 left in the game). I must admit that after losing to Cortland and St. Johns last year by a combined score of 89-33 (at home) and putting in 2 decent performances this year (leading both games well into the 2nd half) albeit losing both by a combined  score of 40-19 (both on the road), gives the BENGAL faithful hope for 2011.

Coach Boyes has these kids believeing that they can win and (I believe) they have the talent to run the table for the rest of the season. Western Conn comes to town next Sat. and I have no doubt that a win streak is in the immediate future of my BENGALS.

Congrats to St. John Fishers for playing hard for 60 mins!

Just had to compliment Kean on having such a nice facility - Saturday was the first time I'd been there and was very impressed.  Congrats on the win - you played like you wanted it more than we did.
