Sharkey intercepts and advances to BP 14.

JT

Counter play... Keith Corcoran takes in 11 yards to the house 39-32 Rowan. 6 minutes and change left.

JT

The QB for BP just got crushed, didn't see it coming.  Flat on his back, ambulance staff called on field immediately.  Players praying.  Hopefully, it is just a concussion.

JT

Coming off on the stretcher, BP QB gives thumbs up.  Prof who hit him walks the stretcher to ambulance.

JT

Backup BP QB throws int.  expect kneel downs from Profs.

JT

Profs win 39-32.  Hopefully, the BP QB is OK.  Suffice it to say, with the scores coming in, the NJAC is wide open.

Credit Rowan radio too, right on top of things.  Otherwise, I'm just making everything up. They described it all.  I am proud to be a Rowan radio alum, the professionalism and care was top notch.  I hope the kid can play again this year.

Welcome Bengalsrule,

Hasn't been a Buff St. fan on the D3 boards in quite a while.  Especially talking NJAC football.

Congratulations to Kean. I said last week I felt D'Ambrisi was the best QB in the NJAC and I saw nothing today to change my mind. Cougars look like a strong bet to win the NJAC, but they still have some monster games to get through (including Buffalo State).

Nice job by the Cortland defense. Offense is still making me scratch my head, wondering why they aren't putting up bigger numbers.

Autera's injury was rumored in the stands to be season ending. I hope it isn't, but if it is he should still qualify to get his junior eligibility back. Miles is a solid back and Cortland can win with him, and Bronson Greene is a huge recruit waiting to get his chance at HB.

That is one thing that bothers me about the Ithaca website.  Ithaca has one of the nicest settings/field/views for football in the entire country, and they don't have one picture on the webpage of it.

Terrific view, probably the best I have seen in D3. Excellent press facilities. The field itself is a mess though. Running from sideline to sideline means you run a hill sprint, and then you run downhill on the other side. It's particularly striking from field level - you don't notice it so much from the stands.

They should put in field turf. It just seems to be so much less of a PITA to maintain. And as we know all too well, the weather rather sucks up here.

Between Montclair's lackluster performance today, Rowan's performance over their first two games, Kean's victory at Cortland (despite being outgained by almost 200 yards) – I don't know what to make out of the NJAC this year. Only sure thing is a last place finish for WestConn.

I find it funny... if Montclair, Cortland or Rowan defeated the #3 team in the country and then the #11 team on the road in back to back weeks would you be saying the NJAC is wide open. Obviously Kean does not have the historic resume that those others have but I think you are selling the Cougars accomplishments short. Montclair State to their credit have lived by playing close games and having the defense and special temas coming up with the big play in critical times. So far this season Kean has made the big plays when they needed it despite being out gained overall on the stat sheet.

I agree it's going to be a fun season with Buffalo State much improved along with Morrisville I think every game in this conference outside West Conn could have upsets.

However, until either Montclair, Rowan or Kean lose those three control there destiny.

The fact that it looks like all the teams will competitive gives a lot teams a chance. Hence, wide open. Kean is a scrappy team but I don't see them running the table in the NJAC.

Congrats to Kean. Tough loss for CState. The defense was solid as usual with a great goal line stand for Cortland. Didn't like the call for the QB sneak from the Kean 2 yard line at the end of the game. I know Pitcher had some success with it earlier in the game but it's very different on your opponents 2. Oh well. That's why I sit in the stands!
