Just a tad late to be asking but maybe I get lucky and someone knows. Headed to West Conn to see the Cortland game. Can't recall the tailgating situation at West Conn. Anyone know?

Good luck Cstate!

As we all look forward to our respective games today, I have learned that a young high school player from Phoenix NY died last night from injuries suffered in the football game at Homer.  Please keep him and all in your thoughts and keep all of our boys safe today.

It would be nice to see montclair really put some serious offensive numbers today and get an impressive win to give some of us some more confidence in them. Good luck montclair take care of buisness today!

Cortland leads 43-3.  Well, so much for keeping this a "competitive" game.  it was only an 8-3 Cortland lead after 1 quarter (why they went for 2 on their first touchdown I don't know), but 5 Red Dragon tocuhdown's in the second quarter have blown the game open.

Western loses to Cortland 55-10.  Can basketball start for us??

And here I was one of the people defending Kean.  Kean finally lost, after dangling on the edge.  Brockport's had a lot of close losses but didn't expect a victory in this one.

Buffalo State also won, 34-12 over TCNJ... the NJAC is Kooky.  So much for them as well. Montclair, please win out!!

Kean going from 1 to numerous supporters in less than a week... my beloved BENGALS winning big over TCNJ (after finally keeping a halftime lead)....basketball practice began (officially) today ..........I love these boards (and NJAC football !) ;)

Greetings fron West Virginia. Looks Like Montclair took care of business today 20-0.
It's off to Ewing next Saturday. A great "D" and Cathey getting more experience. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Fred / Catchball,

Is Fisher done for the year? How did we look against Willy P. Cathey appears to be catching on. Watched live stats from WVa and looked at the box score which looked good. What are your thoughts?

I believe that I read somewhere that Nostradamus predicted that Kean will be exposed and ultimately lose three games. to finish 7-3.  Montclair will run the table for an undefeated season, win the NJAC AQ and the East top seed.  Rowan and Cortland will both finish 8-2.  Cortland will surprisingly get an at large bid by virtue of its head to head win over Rowan.  There is hope.  Let it be written, let it be said.  Stranger things have happened.

Question for CLANDFAN since you are part NJAC and part SUNYAC. How do the playoffs work in D3 football?? I know how the basketball playoffs works but in football (A) how many teams go to the dance...(B) is there a min/max number that can go from the NJAC and (C)  is the higher seed automatically the home team???

If there is someone other than CLANDFAN that knows the answers to these questions then please feel free to chime in! ;)

Pat Coleman

32 teams go to the playoffs, the NJAC has one automatic bid and depending on the year, a 1-loss runner-up has a shot as well. It's very very difficult to get three teams from a league in, and Rowan didn't get an at-large bid last year in that situation.
