wesleydad, See you at the Train Station, I plan to get there around 10:30AM. Try to save you a spot. Look for the Gray Nissan Pathfinder. Welcome to "Sam Mills Field".
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

One hell of an article!!!! Not only is Garrett the head coach, the D coordinator was one of the best linebackers to come out of MSU and probably one of the toughest people I ever met in Keith Migliorino, the O line coach in Nick Greggorio, who was a three year starter back in the early 2000s when the legend Ed Collins was at the QB helm...

I think the best part about this building rivalry is how it is all left on the field where it belongs. Coach Garrett Migs and Nick Gregorio (Quaf) all come to the MSU Alumni Beefsteak each year and break bread with all of their friends, former teammates and coaches...

This is going to be one for the books, Pat come down to NJ for the game!!!

Montclair State is going to be victorious when that final whistle blows!!!!!! Everything you got guys, leave it all on the field!!!

Well here it is, game day.  Best of Luck to the Red Hawks, they need to step up big time to show all the naysayers that they have what it takes to win the NJAC again this year. Offense, Defense, Special Teams gotta roll big time today.
By the time I get there the train station will be packed, I will most likely camp out over by the main entrance, beers and plenty of sandwiches. Rams I'll look for you in the stands and say hello when I see Ya !!!

wesleydad

be heading out soon to make my first trip to montclair for the njac championship game today.  i expect a good game controlled by the defenses.  the x factor will be D'Ambrisi, if he keeps plays alive then I can see kean winning the game.  Will Montclair be able to do enough on offense and avoid turnovers.  Kean has good speial teams, which is how they beat Wesley, so Montclair will have to break even in that category.  Baring any craziness or a one sided turnover difference I am taking Montclair with a late td to win it, 17 - 10.  hope to see many of you at the train station before the game.  will be easy to find, likely the only one wearing a wesley football sweatshirt.

Rest easy Wesleydad, Huntingdon will not be making any halftime adjustments to overcome that 0 - 41 halftime debacle.

Kean looks impressive.  Assuming they hold on here, think they'll be able to get a playoff game down in Union??

SUADC

Kean as of now looking solid across the board. Still one half left. Better Game than the Wesley v. Huntingdon.

TCNJ wins 7-0 at Rowan with the aid of 2 safeties. Now that's something you don't see every day!

Congratulations Kean! Here are my thoughts on the Red Hawks-Cougars Championship game:

Now that Kean has won, you have to look at the quality of their victories this season. Wins over Rowan, Montclair, TCNJ, Cortland, and of course Wesley. With that resume, if Del Valley is the #1 seed in the region (hope), I can see Kean being #2. Worst case imo is Kean is seeded right after Salisbury.

This is definitely a team on the rise. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Note to Coach "G" and Coach "O" :

What were you guys thinking about today. You start Fisher and play him the entire game. He had (5) picks and (1) fumble which accounted for (17) points. Fisher has not played for 4 1/2 weeks and to the best of my knowledge he only praticed for at best (2) days this week. THIS WAS NOT FISHERS FAULT IN ANY WAY. The kid has not played in 4 1/2 weeks and you put him in a no win position. Oh yes you will say in your opinion that he is better then Cathey but not after sitting for 4 1/2 weeks and Cathy lead us from a (21) point defecit against Rowan to win in OT. Today's game was the biggest game to these kids and you did not give them a chance to win. Shame on you guys. If you take (17) points from the (27), I'll let you figure that out. And why did you run D'Andrea to the right every time but once all day. You guys took away a chance for these kids to go to the NCAA'S. Now live with it. Again, you guys could have done a lot better. You gave them a chance to fail and not win. Sorry for the rant, but this has been building.

congrats to kean on winning the njac.  thanks to rams for the hospitality at the train station.  can not argue much with rams rant.  if fisher was not 100% ready he should not have played.  that being said the 2 interceptions by the d lineman were just great athletic plays and lead to the 10 points right before the half which was the difference in the game.  kean with a +5 turnover difference makes the game over.  credit to the montclair defense for keeping the game close.  key play in the first half before the 2 picks was a kean fumble that a montclair d back tried to scoop and run with but failed to pick up the ball allowing kean to recover and keep possession.  at the time it was 7 - 7 and montclair would have had the ball at the kean 40.  can not say that montclair would have scored as the offense was very predictable.  D'Ambrisi must be really annoying to the d line, avoiding sacks and making plays.  the other key in the game to me was that both kean lines dominated, giving D'Ambrisi all day and putting pressure on Fisher all day.  It will be interesting to see how the seeds come out, Dan, I agree with you that kean gets a 3 or 4 if mount comes over.  probably should get the 3 since they beat wesley and salisbury did not.  big difference between at mount in week 2 or at del val.
