NJ,

I think that Rowan will be in for a tough game. They are the better team and will win probably by 10 to 14 points but it could even be single #'s.
Brockport probably plays the toughest scheduel in D3. I never thought that Wesley would be spanked that badly. The Up-State boys are well coached and know how to play the game. Keep in mind that Rowan has a big link on the bench, but that won't stop them from winning the game. Rowan could go deep into the playoffs without their starting QB. I hope we can win this Saturday so my Red Hawks will have a meaningful game on November 12, 2005. If that happens, this board may liven up a bit. :) I think you guys will beat Wesley in a close one.

Rams,

You say that RU should win by 10-14 points, and possibly single digits, but yet in the pick-em, you choose Brockport to cover the spread of 10.5? If you think RU will win by 10-14, then why pick Brockport to cover?
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

That's called hedging your bet!

Dr. xGSC,

I think that Rowan will win by only 10 or less. If your QB were playing I would take Rowan both ways. If Rowan wins by (10) I look pretty smart, and if they win by (11) or more I look pretty dumb. It won't be the first time. ;D

LET'S  GO  MIGHTY  RED  HAWKS  !!!!!!!!!

It looks like a pretty interesting week for NJAC football.

It's a lot to ask for Brockport to travel all the way to Glassboro and win, but you know the Golden Eagles have to be sky high and confident after destroying Wesley.  They obviously found their quarterback, so good riddance Mr Covella.  Even with Orihel, I think this game is very interesting.  Without him, Brockport has a legit shot.

TCNJ-Montclair is a good rivalry game.  Having seen both though, I think Montclair is the 3rd best team in the NJAC this season and should take care of business.

Cortland looks like the clear favorite against WConn, especially since WConn has yet to put points on the board and win against a tough team.  No offense to TCNJ which is clearly rebuilding, and that win by WConn was dubious.  Provided Cortland does not look ahead to IC, they should win this one.

I finally finished the 2004 highlight video.  I've been very busy and this particular video seemed to have more glitches that usual.

Dan,

I think that Rowan wins the game, but it will be a hard fought one. I will not be a game that Rowan will over look and I can bet that they won't over look it. As I said earlier, the Up-State Teams know how to play football. We played only one bad game and that was in Cortland. We fell asleep the second half and when we woke up it was all over. I don't think you will see Montclair do that again for a very long time. I'm just hoping for an enjoyable 2 hour ride home from Ewing, and can start to think of maybe a a trip to the dance. It's a tall order, but remember the movie, the Miracle on 42nd Street. ;)

Bport will not be overlooked by RU tomorrow.  IMO Rowan still owes the Port for knocking them out of the playoff @ Gboro in TR last game as a Prof!!  They may have found a good young QB(Port), however, he will be pressured this week like he has never  been before.  This is a very important game for RU. Their backup QB(Rankin) will need to do alot more than he was asked last week.  Unless Rowan gives up the ball, I see a close game early with the Profs pulling away in the end.  RU is @ home and the travel should hurt the Port.

I hope this is a league game next year!  portgrad (or whatever you change it to) give us your imput.  Ya said that the O-line and D-line struggled early in the season; is that still the case??

GO PROFS!!!!

i was at the Port-Cortland game and it seemed to me that cortland's DL got a lot of pressure very easily on the QB

No question about that.  Blame Covella in hind sight, but the kid had no chance to throw the ball.  If Rowan gets that kind of pressure, it is game over.

The way to beat Cortland is to run shot gun with quick pop passes, something which Western Conn has done in the past.  I just don't think they will be able to stop Cortland's offense enough to keep it close after 3 quarters.

dpav--  GOOD LUCK tomorrow!! :)

What's your expectations on Bport/Rowan??

Cstate wins I agree!  I like MSU since Phil is lobbying for the "not so big" MAC!! ;D

Well, I'm finally back to the posting boards after a couple busy weeks, then a hurricane filled week...finally got the power back today...hurray!

Good time to get back so I can listen to the port/Rowan game.  I didn't get to hear most of last week's game with Wesley, so I don't know too much about the new QB...but it definitely sounds like he's a plus for the port.  Boy, after thinking we had a successor to Darnley...we weren't even close...

Hopefully will be a good game, I have a hard time thinking Rowan lose at home, even without Orihel.

Just remember, outside of the Ithaca game, most games with the good teams have been pretty competitive, and I expect this to be more of the same!

ACMob

Good karma for sure!!  I don't know what to think of your boys this week. :-\

I'm sure they will be up to the challenge as both teams start with backup QB's.  I know from earlier games you posted that the lineman on both sides have had their problems.  Improving eh?  The Frosh QB may be in over his head this week, though! ;)

I wish him and your boys GOOD LUCK!!

Sorry, but I can't keep my eyes open another minute.

PEACE!   ??? no sleepy smile...............

Fellows,
Off to Ewing... lots of people will be there today.... most not paying much attention to the fotball game...i have seen both teams a few times... montclair is big , they run better then tcnj does...tcnj's offense has laspes were they will go backwards 20-30 yards in a series , then have the punt blocked... too much pressure on the defense, which has progressed very well this season-..if tcnj can mount any offense & allow their def. some rest, stay away from the crazy give aways that i have seen so far, they will find themselves right in this game..montclair's offense fizzles alot... qb has gotten better every week, kicking game edge to msu... i think upset is very possible..27-22 tcnj

bport070782--  please update score if possible.  Thanks!!
