I am not sure the NJAC/MAC challenge is on. All I know is that Montclair plays Del Val and Rowan plays Widner. These should be the second parts of the Home & Home Series. Just my thoughts.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Darn, I was really hoping that Rowan would play Widener, but oh well, I wish them luck with Widner ... ::)

It seems like such a no brainer to do, not sure why they wouldn't formalize the challenge for at least a couple years...maybe the NJAC wanted to stabilize it's football membership before re-engaging?...

I was excited for a moment when I saw that WU had a 2015 scdule option, but was disappointed when it reverted back to 2014.
I'll just guess it will be 2014 flipped.

I got the D3 Football bug after I saw the Montclair Schedule. I looked at 2014 history, who I think is returning, 2014 SOS and my gut. The below is total conjecture. My thoughts below on the NJAC for 2015. I think this should get the board hopping :

                                                Losses
1.   Wesley        10-0  9-0
2.   Montclair       8-2  8-1          DelVal / Wesley
3.   Salisbury       8-2  7-2          Montclair / Wesley
4.   Rowan           7-3  7-2          Widner / Montclair / Wesley
5.   CNU              7-3  6-3          Montclair / Salisbury / Wesley
6.   Frostburg
7.   Willly P
8.   Kean
9.   TCNJ
10. So. VA

Rams, it will be fun to play in a conference this year.  I hope that Wesley can continue playing at the high level they have been for the past 10 or so years.  Having a reason to play each week and win a title has to be a great way to keep the team motivated each week no matter what the reputation of the team they will be playing.  Looks like I will be in Montclair on Halloween.

I will be looking forward to it.  ;)

Interesting thread on the WIAC board. Wesley and UWW were looking for games the first week of the season. I think UWW will end up playing start-up Finlandia however. Would have been an interesting game to open the 2015 season. Thoughts?

Teamski

A return to UNC Charlotte would be interesting.   It would work out for both teams.

The Finlandia game is already scheduled, but it's Week 3:

It was generally stated over in that thread that Wesley wanted no parts of UWW, until someone with inside info (not confirmed) stated that Wesley reached out to UWW, but UWW declined due to budget restraints.

Give the State School news in Wisc this offseason, that's not surprising...

Second story seems more likely to me. Wesley will play anyone that wants to play them especially as Independents. The 4 D3 teams in the entire nation that wanted to play last year were scheduled. That wont be an issue this year, but I guarantee Wesley will take on any D3 team that wants to play.

I just hope that Widener will engage Wesley, Salisbury and CNU also in the future, whether the NJAC challenge is reinstated or not.  These will be great games locally!

The NJAC / MAC Challenge would make sense going forward from 2016 especially now with the completion of the Montclair/DelVal & Rowan/Widner home and home series in 2015. If you look at the Top 4-5 of each conference it makes sense. NJAC - Wesley, Montclair, Rowan, Salisbury and CNN then MAC - Widner, DelVal, Lycoming, Albright and Stevenson . It would make life a lot easier. Time will tell.

Rams, I'll have to look, but I don't recall a Widener/Montclair match-up...That would be great as well.  I did go to a Rowan/Montclair game more than a few years ago (at Rowan).  I think I met up with Dr XGSC and JT that day, but I definitely rooted for Montclair... ::)

Spoken line a true salesman. ;) I spoke about Montclair/DelVal ending, not Widner, but a home/home with Widner in the future would also be nice. Gotta love Chester, PA. :o Maybe we will meet at the Montclair/Rowan game this year.

I agree that it would probably be beneficial for both teams, but at this point there's no way they can make it happen again. Starting next season Charlotte goes full-time into Conference USA, so their
non-conference games will all be BCS or FCS teams.
