Lol.....3rd personal foul (unsportsmanlike) for Wesley in the 1st.  Wesley could break their yardage record for penalties if this keeps going on.  And yet they are down to the 5 yard line.  It shows just how talented this team is.  Flawed, but talented.

some things never change.  Defense looks fast.  Offense looks good with Baynard having his way running the ball.  Fumbles and penalties will be the only thing that keeps this game close in the end.

Wesley scores on first play of second quarter.  Lead 7 - 0

wesleydad

offense looks good.  another stupid unsportsmanlike on the TD.  Wesley 14 - 0.  Receivers are making nice catches and Callahan is under control.

wesleydad

Frostburg field goal.  14 - 3.  Nice drive, but QB is under pressure every pass play.  Frostburg can not run the ball which will make it tough for them.

wesleydad

Long TD pass and a nice drive for another TD.  Wesley 27 - 3 nearing the half.  Offense looks nice.  Defense very fast looking.  Penalties not so good.

Okike will be a nice big target for Callahan.  Glad to see them getting the ball to George.  Overall pretty good first half.  Stupid penalties have to stop.

Even with almost 100 yards of penalties (10/92), Callahan passed for 335 yards in the first half and Wesley put up 451 yards already on offense.  I'm impressed.  Good run/pass balance.  Again, if Wesley can get its game cleaned up, it is right back to the grinder.  The defense is putting good pressure on the QB, so that is a good sign.

Bryce Shade has his 4th TD reception early in the 3rd quarter!

A Wesley fumble return for a TD is called back for a facemask.  A second flag for the coach to add onto it.  Amazing.

in the end a good win for game 1.  Offense looks to have plenty of weapons.  The running game looked good.  Defense controlled the game with speed.  Too many unsportsmanlike penalties again.  That has to end.  Looking forward to next weeks visit from CNU.  Field being named for Coach Drass so the crowd should be pretty big.

Finally home! Agree with wesleydad. The receivers looked great Okike and Shade had a couple amazing TD grabs and there weren't any drops to my knowledge. #3 Samer Manna and #10 Julian Jones were all over the field in the first half, so that was good to see from the LBs. Kyle George played well today both receiving and blocking.

Unfortunately my hopes for making the home opener seem dim, but I will be in Chicago the following week.

EDIT: Frostburg's stadium was much improved from when I was last there in 2010. A huge pressbox with lockerrooms underneath sits under the home grandstand. Has potential to be a really nice football atmosphere.

I believe Coach Drass will be going for win #200 next week also!!.. Enjoy watching the game today on line. Saw a lot of new wrinkles and blocking schemes today. The coaches are always putting new looks on both sides of the ball.

PA, I think that was his 200th win. He had 199 before the Mount game and that would have been something.

Pep sees that Wesley had 13 penalties for 115 yards. Heck, AU topped that yesterday in their 32-20 win over RPI in a persistent rain. The Saxons were flagged 14 times for 140 yards!! Ugh!

Wesley had I believe 5 unsportsmanlike penalties.  Ugly no matter what.
