Well Wesley is putting it on so far in the second half.  Classic Wolverines.  Into the 4th quarter, Wesley has the ball after hanging up 14 points so far with the defense doing a great job keeping NCC off the field.  Wesley down 35-28......

Callahan shows why he is All-American!  Runs in for a TD to tie the game after being 21 points down!  WOW!

Yep mistakes allow NCC to score.  Callahan fumbles the ball and later a Wesley defender gets a roughing the passer on 3rd and long.  Ugh!  42-42

Maybe I'm a bit slow on the uptake but what does "Linfield anyone?????" mean?

Wesley came back from a 28 point deficit in the playoffs in the second half several years ago and ended up stomping Linfield.  Unfortunately, errors may have very well lost this game for the Wolverines.  Damn it.

Gotcha!! I'm pulling for Wesley, as they are the East's only shot (and probably not much of one) to slay Mount Youngstown State Union and the University of Wisconsin ww on back to back weekends in December!!

Teamski

13 ticks on the clock on the 13 yard line for Wesley.  1st down.... Game here......

Wesley scores on a TD pass from Callahan.  They might be going for 2 with 7 seconds left.

Callahan rolls out as a naked bootleg.  Draws the defense and BOOM!  pass into the endzone.  49-48 NCC with 7 seconds left.

My word!  WESLEY PULLS IT OFF!!!  Down by 21 points in the second half.  Fumbles, penalties, mistakes....and yet Wesley did it.  A 2 point conversion with 7 seconds left puts the nail in the coffin.  I'm shaking.....

NCC is one tough team.  No doubt about that.  They have skills on both sides of the ball and we will see them in the playoffs.

Great game by Wesley. Huge Caojoles by Drass to go for two at the end. As far as NCC in the playoffs, you very well may not see them. They are 1-2 and have to run the table in the CCIW to get there. That means beating 2 other top 25 teams (Wheaton and IWU). Tough road to hoe for the Cardinals.

Fantastic game for fans of D3!

Just want to add my congrats to Wesley there.  That was a great final drive they put together, and to go for that 2 was as big as it gets.  That's what you get with a running QB sometimes: a simple up and over pass that nobody was there to defend.  Great job Wesley!
