Its funny pg04 how you run your mouth about the kicker.  He is a freshman.  Give him a break.  you couldnt do any better!!!!

Who cares what class he is, he's a kicker.  Hitting EPs should be cake.

Looks like he pulled his post once I called him out on who he was.  Typical.

TCNJ up 47-24 on Buffalo St. with 2:00 left.

Does anyone have some insight on Buff State. I know they lost this weekend to a good TCNJ team, but I am just trying to see what they have? Any information would be appreciated.

Pep can tell you from previous experience that Buffalo State has an outstanding coach in Jerry Boyes who is capable of turning around the Bengals' fortunes in a hurry. Time will tell. Stay turned.

Jerry Boyes is back as coach correct? Seems to me I heard that somewhere. I remember when Buff State was a very good DIII team. My freshman year at Fisher they blew the cardinals out if I remember correctly. I am interested to see what they have this weekend.

They were a very good team in the 1990s, however they've had a pretty dramatic decline since, and don't think they've had a winning record in the 2000s.  Last year they were 1-9.  Honestly I'm not too sure what you'll see from that team.  Can't really say they are on the rise just yet.

Thanks for the update. That is what I was afraid of. You just never know when a new coach comes in what type of offense a team will run, or how they will use the tools that they have. I am hopeful that Fisher will have enough. Here is to a hard fought, good football game.

So PG, tell me what your credentials to report on football?

Well I'm not a kicker.  But you don't necessarily need to be on the field to know what should and shouldn't be done on it.

Look, the kid made the kick when it really mattered, and thus, all is a wash.

but did you play college football?  and whats with the hall of fame at the bottom of your reply?

No I didn't Play.  I thought I implied that in the previous post.  The hall of fame thing is just a joke about something.

Are you ****ing kidding me?

All this because I said I thought that they wouldn't kick because their kicker had missed two extra points.  Even the Brockport Announcers said this.

1sttmaak,
You might be surprised and shocked to know that Bob Woodward of the Washington Post was, in fact, never the President of the United States. Yet people seem to have a passing fancy regarding his opinions and observations.

Do try to put your next post through the uprights.

sjfcards,
The stat in the Buffalo St. game that stands out is that TCNJ rushed for 329 yards with a 7.3 yds/play rushing average – and were playing without two starters on defense and their All-NJAC receiver. If the Lions had a decent TCNJ-like defense, this could be very, very good this year. Buffalo has a long way to go and will likely be at or near the bottom of the NJAC this season.

Thanks for the stat Phil. That is a great bit of knowledge. Aside from Fisher (obviously) I am usually a Cortland guy, so it helps me on two fronts.

1sttmaak...WOW...take it easy with the you didn't play so you can't comment on College football, or else there would not be too many people at your games, let alone on this board. I am new to the NJAC post patterns, but I think this view would be held across all boards.

Any comments on my below post on the MAC Board this morning to the Wilkes fan from any of the Montclair Faithful? See you at Ralston Field this Saturday.

In the NJAC Pick-Em's I had the Mules as -3.5 and took the Mules Straight and Wilkes with the Spread. I always said that Wilkes is a well coached team and always in the game. Wilkes wining did not surprise me, but I thought the Mules would win. Congratulations on a great start. I'll be out at Ralston Field on Saturday. A little tailgate and as usual an exciting game. I think our "D" will be fine. Decent receivers, decent running game and the jury is out on our Soph QB. Saturday will be the test. IMHO this game could define the Montclair Season as to the teams Character.

rams1102,

I'm not sure if you're giving me a well-intentioned shout out or a little backtalk- I'll go with the former for good measure. My comment on the Muhlenberg game was just some good-natured fun after a great upset win over a very good Mules squad. I can completelty understand many people picking Muhlenberg, and if I were in an objective situation, it would be hard to argue the pick. If you think I was being cocky or arrogent or anything of that nature, I wasen't, so we will indeed see you at Ralston on Saturday. MSU has always brought a great group of fans who know how to tailgate, so let's have some fun and we'll see what happens-lots of players and fans from the Garden State on either side of this one :)
