phil, i don't think i guaranteed anything!!! i simply pointed out who tcnj has played...it is fact....and you know it. kean has played very well as of late, and i am confident that they will beat tcnj on friday---being said, i mentioned nothing about an njac championship. you are very defensive.......maybe you know i am right :)

worry about your lions------not kean's athletic dept.

Dlip and NLNG 'hug it out'...Dlip quoted
as saying 'NLNG, I can't quit you...'

dlip recalls SRT holding out a peace branch to him a long time ago when dlip came on here acting like a cornwhole. Just paying it forward baby! +k for the appropriate pic!
The guy in the red hat just seems way too happy with the hug.

Precisely...That's Dlip.

C'mon, I'm just having some fun while you're guaranteeing a win against the Lions and calling my team over rated!

I'm the first to admit that Kean could drop 50 on TCNJ's defense if the Cougars force a few turnovers. There's nothing in the way TCNJ's "D" has played which will cause opposing offensive coordinators sleepless nights. But...

You seem so ready to dismiss the fact that the Lions (who have been playing football since 1921), managed to break school records for total yards (706) and points (67) in successive weeks. While I admit the schedule has enabled the Lions to do what they were expected to do up to this point, perhaps we should take a closer look...

Alfred seems to be everybody's #1 team in the East right now. Alfred beat FDU with a TD in the last 27 seconds of the game. TCNJ was up on FDU 48-7 at halftime.

Cortland struggled all over the place against Morrisville before winning 26-17 – this was before Cortland's backfield was decimated by injuries. TCNJ scored 41 points more than Cortland did against the same team.

TCNJ beat Buffalo St. by 16 points. Buffalo St. beat WestConn by 11 points. Kean was life and death to beat WestConn by a TD.

Is losing to DelVal by two TD's somehow better than beating a team like FDU by 4 TD's?

I hope the Kean football team is as over confident as you after last week's game. Cortland was ripe for the upset coming off the Rowan game and playing without their QB.

So, while Kean could very well beat the bejezus out of TCNJ and their suspect defense, I wouldn't go so far to guarantee a victory if I were you. I would think some of the above info would give any Kean supporter pause to take off those rose colored glasses!

Well said phil +k. Dude better hope Kean takes out TCNJ or he will be eating some ****ing crow!

Nice...some energy on this board.  I like it.  Now if only the Red Dragons could muster up some positive energy and take it to Buff St.  We may be down, but we ain't out.  Workin hard.

I see you are getting into game shape. ;D Don't be too tough on the newbees, we need as many posters as possible on the NJAC board. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

...but Dave, it's been a couple years since I had much to say by week 5! I'm just flexing my digits so I'm in game shape down the stretch (and to hopefully torment you for the Red Hawk game).  ;D

...besides, how many NJAC champs have given up 30 ppg during the season? I'm enjoying the offensive fireworks while I can!

Agree with your comment about the boards energy. Montclair appears to be flying under the radar and forgotten about. I like it. We will have a tough one with Willy P. and then you guys come to town. Let's call it the forgotten bowl. We have to get together at the train station for a burger and a brew. The NJAC starts to heat-up this Friday. You gotta love this time of the year.

...nobody is buying the "poor, forgotten, under the radar, Redhawks" routine – as long as Wilkes keeps winning.  :-*

Anyone hearing rumors of a new to the team QB for CState?  Is that even possible rules wise?  I am the first to admit I have no idea.  They also may be without captain Lou Crispo who went down during the Kean game.  They put in a kid at nose tacke that got man handled by the Kean O line.  Looked like Crispo was ready to return but heard another rumor that he might be out for an extended period.  That would be another big loss.

As long as said student athlete is academically eligible and has remaining NCAA eligibility, I don't see a problem. The rumor is making the rounds because I heard a vague reference to the mention of a new quarterback in the post-game show last week by your radio guys.

My question is, does Pitcher apply for and receive a medical redshirt? I know Alex Smith could have done this after getting hurt as a senior but chose not to.

Thanks for the clarification on new players....is there any practice requirements before a player can suit up that anyone knows of?  This could be very interesting if Coach Mac has something up his sleeve!  Looking forward to Saturday.

It could just be a rumor. Considering we're halfway into the season, anyone that comes into the program will need at least a couple of weeks to get into game shape. When the time roles around that they're acclimated into the offense and physically ready, you'll be at the end of the season.

At this point, the only back-ups listed as quarterbacks on the roster are junior Greg Barcomb and 6-8 freshman Rob Van Bargen. Van Bargen was a third-team all-state quarterback last year at downstate powerhouse Massapequa.
