Rowan over SUNY Morrisville 67-0.  195-34 over the last three opponents.

I've had them at #2 for a while JT in the ERFP and with the way they are playing I don't see them going anywhere for a while...

I'll get my first look at them next week.  Should be able to make the last four games.  Great team speed.  Lot of players getting involved.  Hopefully, they stay reasonably healthy.

dlip feeling good about Rowan. dlip feels the profs may just be hitting their stride and are definitely one of the most dnagerous teams in the East right now.

Profs are usually slow starters on offense beginning a season.  We'll know more over the last four weeks if they are serious contenders on the national scene, or not. The major problem I see is penalties.  Profs are averaging over 100 yds in penalties per game.  Even if you chalk up 15% to bad officiating (WGLS broadcasters have been particularly hard on officials this year), they are still at about 90 yds.  They are doing a lot of the stupid 15 yd variety on defense.  A very good opponent will make them pay.

The Kean Cougars travel upstate NY to face The College at Brockport Golden Eagles! The Golden Eagles enter this game with a 2-3 record but have lost their last 3 games! All 3 loses were to opponents in the NJAC! I'm sure the Golden Eagles will be motivated to get their 1st conference win in front of the home crowd! Kean enters the contest looking to improve to 5-1 and remain undefeated in the NJAC! If the Cougars stay on pace, their dreams of an automatic bid to the NCAA playoffs can become a reality! Those dreams are in the hands of Kean's version of the triplets:  D'Ambrisi, Chunn & Cade! Sprinkle in a little Harris & Puorro on offense and a stingy defense led by their stalwart DE & NFL hopeful Darryl Jackson and Brockport will be in for a long Saturday afternoon!  ;D

Kean 35 - Golden Eagles 17

I feel like Nostradamus! We are tied for the #1 spot atop the "BIG NJAC" & I expect some consideration for the D3 Football top 25 poll this week! I'm really proud of where our program is right now! Our road to the NCAA playoffs is 1 game @ a time! Next up ... Morrisville!

BTW, in case you didn't get the memo Kean 40 - Brockport 22!
Let's Go Cougars;D

Settle down X59.  The Alger comment was funny.  I bet if I made an age joke to Russ tomorrow he would get a good laugh out of it.   In no way did I see the "implication" in John's post that you saw.

New uni's for the Dragons today? I like em!

In 2008 TNCJ's defense gave up 299 points in ten games to become the worst defense the Lions put on the field in 88 years of playing the game at the school. With today's loss, the Lions will likely surpass that number in game eight. With Rowan, Montclair and Cortland still left for TCNJ, it only gets worse from here.

It looks pretty bad to go from an NCAA playoff team with an excellent defense in 2007 to hiring a former kicker/coach's son to run the defense - only to have his unit give up 30 ppg each year. What a waste of a good offense.

Lately it doesn't seem like any team in the NJAC is lacking in offense.  Defense on the other hand...

I'm really impressed with Rowan like some of the others on here.  They may be the only team in the east to compete with impending Mount Union.

dlip thinks it's cool you are proud of your team and happy about an excellent start to the 09 campaign for Kean. Yet, go easy, don't get your ****in panites in a bunch or give yourself a wedgie just yet.  ;)

Glad to see my Dragons coming up with a "W" after that let down in Montclair.  Hopefully an ECAC game (win) will remain a possibility.  Even though B'Port, TCNJ and Willy P are down, I wouldn't take anything for granted.

Rowan is getting screwed in the D3FB.com poll...

I'm not saying they should be in the top 25, but they should be receiving more than 1 vote...

Three big games in the top 10, including two upsets, probably kept votes away from the Profs.  There's time for the Profs to make a move as long as they don't play like the Giants did today.

Agreed -- it was tough for them to move up when there were two teams that a lot of voters needed to add to their ballot this week: Mississippi College and Wittenberg. I had to drop a team that didn't lose to add Witt to my ballot, for example.

Eli Manning played a game today where he was made to feel that he had to score on every possession.
James and TCNJ's offense is forced to play like that every week. Now whose fault is that?

Now if the players and coaches were defending TCNJ's defense you'd have a real story.

I've had Mississippi College for a few weeks, had to give the Tommies and Witt some love, forcing me to drop an undefeated team too.  Gotta a few of 26A, 26B, 27A, 27B.....  the bottom of the poll is very tight.  Teams could be in the top 25 that are not.  It usually sorts itself out by week 11.
