OK, important question here.  CState is playing at Willy P.  Anyone have any info on the tailgating situation there?  Weather looks like it will not cooperate but don't know whether to pack up all the gear or limited stuff.  Even watching a game in the rain beats a good day at work.

Willy P has ample parking right below the field.  The field is elevated on hill.  I've never experienced a problem.  Put adult beverages in a cup that isn't see through.  Just bring a garbage bag and tie it up before you leave.  You'll see the parking lot as you drive up and the field will be behind the lot on a hill.

Thanks JT.  Weather is looking really bad but never bad enough to not tailgate.  BTW love your site.  You really do a great job with it and no doubt the team/families enjoy the hell out of it.  I know all about winning games but the memories I have from my days, even back in HS are great and having a site like yours adds to the Profs memories for sure.  It's a lot of work I am sure but well worth it. Well done.

Thanks.  I am debating going down to Glassboro, but rain and possible thunderstorms is like 80%.  It will be a Saturday morning call.  I'm not even asking for a press pass to take photos.  Next week is at Kean.  I'm hoping for good weather the last three weeks.  I'm gonna do everything I can to take in Kean, Montclair and TCNJ.

Ex D3 Athlete

Kean will be @ home on 10/24 against Morrisville State College riding a 5 game NJAC winning streak! The game is also Kean's Homecoming so there should be a good turnout of fans in the stands for tommorrow's game! The Morrisville Mustangs are coming off an embarrassing 67-0 loss to Rowan & I'm sure they want to prove to the Kean faithful that last game was an aberration and not the norm! Kean wants to get this one over early so they can let the backups get a few reps because the gametime experience will be a valuable asset! Kean has 3 tough opponents remaining to close out the season so keeping the starters fresh for the stretch run is important!

Kean 49 - Morrisville 13

Don't call it a comeback--in his head, TCNJ's James never left

Opinion:
Perennial weak sisters, Mville, Buff St. and W.Conn are pulling the njac down.  These may be three of the worst football teams in DIII.  I had hoped that njac competition might help these programs  but  instead of the league pulling them up, their programs are killing the league.  Wait til you see the blowouts this weekend.  Who gains anything?  If Rowan and Kean don't win by 40, I bet they lose votes.

Frustrating year and needed to vent. I'm still hung up on what ifs.  Good luck to all.

Can I start the annual bitching about availability of Cortaca tix?  There will be no doubt that a bunch of drunk students who don't know our starting QB's name will be scooping up tickets in hops of re-selling them to people who actually like the teams for $30.  The next two weeks are going to be a pain in the ass.

There are conferences in the country in which all three teams would be in contention.  They are far from the worst.  I'd rate the NJAC a top 10 league.

West Conn's problem is in recruiting. They don't have the speed to compete in the NJAC right now.

Millersville has recently stepped up from a JUCO, and joined the NJAC.  That's like going from the frying pan to the fire.  The coach is in a talent rich area, he needs at least 4 years.  This is his second year.

Buff St, has the coach back that built the program into a perennial playoff powerhouse in the 1990's.   A good bet he'll turn it around.

There are at least a few teams in the top 25 that have fattened up on some patsies.

As far as Montclair, Kean, and Rowan, winning cures all top 25 issues.  I'm thinking that whomever can run the table will wind up somewhere in the 15-18 range in the top 25.  Could be higher if there are more upsets in the current 1-15.

I second the start of the bitching.  The game is big enough and has enough interested spectators outside the immediate Cortland/Ithaca region that they really need to atleast make an attempt to make them available other than by making the trip to Ithaca or Cortland.  Last year Cortland had an online option that while was lacking to say the least, it was an attempt and gave you an option.  I ended up meeting one of those drunk students in Cortland last year the day before the game to get the last two we needed.  He must have really been tanked as I paid $30 for two.  Bottom line is that there is a market willing to pay up for the tickets and the schools should look to capitalize on it and get a pro vendor to handle ticket sales.  Would much rather pay more knowing the schools are benefiting rather than subsidizing a round later that night at a local pub.
