rams1102, figured i would come over here and say hi again.  I saw that you responded to my post on the ohio board, but i figured better to come over here.  i talked to you a couple of weeks ago I think and we discussed my surprize with montclair since I saw them the first week of the season.  they were not impressive and as i said, if they have not improved since then they will struggle.  it sounds like they have improved from reading your comments so good luck with the game.  i road out last year to alliance for the semis and had a good time.  since you are arriving early i would also recommend a small bar on the edge of town that has an assortment of wing flavors, forget the name.  the venue is different then most places with as many mount fans sitting on the visitors side as visitor fans.  have fun and drive safe.

Thanks for the advise. Just got a little aroused. Your initial comment was correct, but it sort of came out of nowhere. Good luck to the Wolverines. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

wesleydad

rams1102, thanks.  you will enjoy the trip.  small town atmosphere with a big time football team.  The home stands seem to muffle the cheers with the roof overtop, it is weird when you first hear it since it seems to come out low and build like someone is playing with the volume.  I have met some of the posters from Mount and they are great guys and gracious hosts.  I was invited to a mexican breakfast with frozen margaritas that was a playoff ritual of a couple of the guys and had a blast.

wesleydad and rams1102,

The wing restaurant/bar in Alliance is called "Wing Warehouse".... and yes it was very good... the beers were wet but the "talent" wasn't very good in there... especially amongst the waitresses.  You remember this now, wesleydad?

Dude, you have to keep in mind it's Alliance Ohio.  Any legitimate talent that grows up in Ohio quickly leaves once they reach 18.

I once knew a girl from Alliance.. so I know there is SOME potential there.

Last year that group of college girls at the table with the dbags left pretty early.  Must've had some studying to do   ::)

saintsfan, yes, i do remember the minimal sites when I arrived, but by the time I had got there after a 6 hour drive, food and suds was what I wanted.  rams1102, you will enjoy if you go.  additional sites are always welcome when one is enjoying wings and suds after a game.  maybe the girls will be there when the game is over.
