3 teams in the NJAC at 9-1...

WTF...

Worth the mention that TCNJ's coach, Eric Hamilton, collected his 200th win this afternoon. Not an everyday occurrence.

Thanks, Phil.  We'll mention it off the front page.

Sounds like the Cortland-Montclair game could have been dangerous for those with severe health conditions. Congrats to Cortland.... and best of luck to both on the rest of their seasons'

Wow... that was two pretty good defensive ball clubs there.  I don't know what to say.  I feel for the Montclair kicker.  It was a great game if you like defenses and field position battles.  I thought it was over when Cortland punted with 2:00 minutes left.  My hats off to an offense that struggled all day and got it done when they had to.  Defense was tremendous but could have done without the heartburn over the last 40 seconds.

It was Montclair's to win at the end but that sh*t happens.

Who knows what happens now?  William Patterson next...one week at a time and we will see how the math plays out.

Congrats Cortland

A tough one today. A game that Montclair should have won, but that's why we play the game. Congrats to Cortland. A lot of driving back and forth to come away with another "L".  >:( Our "D" was awsome the first half. I think we got our first, first down(2nd half) in the last minute drive that resulted in the missed field goal. The interception at the end of the first half was huge. A tremendous defensive battle. Too bad our "D" was on the field too long. Can't blame our "O" because the Cortland "D" was also awsome. The Cortland "O" proved to be better in the end. Good luck to both teams the rest of the year.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Just home from Cortland. Called my dr and cancelled the stress test I had scheduled for Monday. After that game no need. Congrats to Cstate for fighting to the end. Two outstanding defenses. MSU played tough and could have easily walked away with the win. Looked to me like the snap for the FG attempt at the end was off which I think threw the kick off.

Rams...it's a shame anyone had to lose.  Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you.
Two top defenses and they didn't dissappoint.  The second half was a difference maker.  I think Cortland's move to the wildcat was effective.  Autera is just a gutsy hard nosed kid.  He and Guiliano are our playmakers...we can't hide it, it's like here they are ... stop them.  Our QB struggled but that was more reflective of your defense than his ability, I think... but to his credit came up with some big throws when he needed to.  We have needed another receiver to step up and make plays.  Humphey #7 had two big ones.  We need that from him.

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.  Best of luck to you and the Red Hawks.

Best defensive battle I have seen in a long time.  I felt for Delvento - a blocked XP and missed FG decide the final outcome.  Any ideas what the MSU coaches were thinking when they ran a designed QB run on 2nd down which went way outside of the left hash, and then 3rd down (if I'm not mistaken) didn't move it back toward the middle of the field.  Is Delvento a left hash kicker?

I thought that was a big mistake.  The wind was blowing directly across the field toward the MSU side (toward the left hash), and 30 yards is never a gimme in D3.  If anything you'd want to err toward the right hash and give yourself some room to work with the wind.  Seemed like a complete strategy oversight that put Delvento in a tougher position than he needed to be in.

One hell of a game!!! Tough Tough pill to swallow, but that is why we play the game...wow what a defensive battle!!!!!!

Best of luck to Cortland the rest of the season and now it is time to let the chips fall where there may..

"Pleased" to see that the Cortaca Jug sold out before I could get a ticket.  Also "elated" to know that a bunch of drunk kids who haven't been to a game all year will be there to throw derogatory chants at a school they couldn't find without a GPS.  Cortland really needs to do something for alumni who want to see the game and stop handing out tickets to students who haven't followed the team at all.
