Pretty quiet out here, I guess everyone is waiting for the last NCAA Regional Rankings.

Rams....life would be easier for us both this weekend if you hammer Willy P and Rowan gets toasted.  Hope your boys are up for it.

Of course we won't know that outcome until we are done.  We have to look at Cortaca as a must win, which, I guess doesn't need to be said cuz it's Cortaca!!!!!

Remember that Cortaca has no influence over Cortland getting a Pool A bid.  The only danger of a loss is if Montclair loses.  Then Cortland must fight in Pool C.

Understood Frank but we play at noon and won't know the outcome of the other unitl after.  We have to play like our post season depends on it because....it might.

I have been thinking what the NCAA East Regional Rankings would look like today when posted. IMHO based on NCAA SOS / OWP / OOWP at this point of time :

1.   Del Val
2.   Montclair
3.   Rowan
4.   Cortland
5.   Alfred
6.   SUNY Maritime
7.   Main Maritime
8.   Fisher
9.   Ithaca
10. Endicott

Any thoughts ?

I could see a 2-loss Alfred over 1-loss Maine Maritime, but not over the undefeated SUNY-Maritime.  Also, I think that Ithaca falls out of the rankings with their third loss (though I'd rather see them there and count as another Saxon quality win).  I bet the Bombers fall out and Springfield moves in.

I know I will get in trouble for assuming, but you can not compare the two SOS'S and that is why I have Alfred above Suny Mar. You may be right w/Ithaca.

I don't think Alfred would be ahead of SUNY-Maritime.  It seems like the line the Subcommittee has drawn is the idea that SUNY-M with zero losses should not be behind two-loss teams.  Also, Rowan will remain directly behind DelVal -- there is no reason to shift the order at this point.  If and when Cortland is removed from the mix, THEN Montclair might roll back ahead of Rowan on Saturday night (we'll not see those orderings).  Finally, I think Springfield might be in there ahead of SJF and Ithaca with 2 losses and a win vs. Fisher.  Ithaca likely is not in this week's poll, if they do choose to honor Endicott's chances here in the NEFC Championship Game.

Frank Rossi

Just to quantify my guess:

1) Del Val
2) Rowan
3) Cortland
4) Montclair
5) SUNY-Maritime
6) Alfred
7) Maine Maritime
8) Springfield
9) SJF
10) Endicott

Hasn't been any chatter on here about this but Kean could do the NJAC proud with a strong showing vs Wesley.  While a win might be a feather in the cap for Kean and NJAC by association, it would probably eliminate Wesley as a 1 seed and be all the more reason to bring MUC east.

No, I don't think this is likely but I would like to see the NJAC team do well against top competition.
