Had a lot of stuff going on for my Granddaughters Christining, but as I was grilling the sausages for the S&P'S I was watching as much as I could see of the game. I do not want to gripe as I have in the past, but Montclair does not have the Killer instinct. We should have put H-S away in the second half, but what else is new, we did not. This is no knock on H-S, they are a real good team.  We better get our **** together if we expect to do it to Wesley again. Wesley, IMHO is on the same plain an MU & UWW. We better be ready. Speaking of getting ready, back to preparing for Gianna's Christining.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Just wanted to congratulate Montclair on their win today. We gave it our best shot in the 4th quarter but your defense came through when they needed to. Best of luck against Wesley next weekend.

It was 16-0 going into the 4th quarter.  For Some reason MSU allows teams back into the game.  Like when they lost to Cortland and when they squeaked by Brockport 27-22

Montclair's initial 4th quarter first down clinched the game with 2:30 left. The D was on the field way too long.

Still, not too bad considering the absolute lack of respect given the NJAC lately (MSU an 18 point dog by the esteemed Pat C. no less!) – and I still think the best team in the conference was Rowan.

HSC was held under their scoring average by 3 TD's and scored 14 – seven points less than their lowest output of the season. Gee, New Jersey, Buffalo and Brockport scored at least that much against Montclair.

Montclair was a 6.5 point favorite in the OAC Pick-Em's.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

But each of the experts on the triple take choose HSC to win, with Pat choosing them to win 28-10.  That's what he was referring to.

I believe HSCoach is saying he's the better handicapper in this instance.

Hey, at least both made it past round one.  One should make the elite eight.   The NJAC is a tougher conference then others may believe.  Just because Rowan doesn't wax everyone isn't cause to call it weak.  Top to bottom the teams are better, except for maybe West Conn.

And if MSU can hang in, maybe they can upset late.

...didn't mean to single out just Pat and the "Triple Take". It's been my opinion that the NJAC has been downgraded over time as a conference because of the struggles of its new members and its lack of out of conference games. Folks seem to forget that TCNJ, Rowan and Montclair couldn't get out of conference games and that Kean and WPU were conference pushovers not too long ago.

Unless NJ college football as a whole has slid, the top teams in the conference are as good as they normally are – just not on the level with the top 5 programs in the country. Limited roster sizes and no JV can only take you so far...

I shut the Cortland broadcast off when it was 42-14 only to check back and see it was 49-28!  Was there a mass substitution on the defensive side of the ball?..or did Endicott just stick it to them?

If that was the first unit giving up garbage points, that does not leave a good feeling for next week.

Cortland gave up two defensive scores - a fumble by the backup HB returned for a TD, and Pitcher intercepted and returned 95 yards or so for another TD.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

Rowan has played JV for about five years.  Which is one of the primary reasons different players found their way into the two-deep and Rowan kept getting better over the season. I am not sure if anyone else in the NJAC does.  The results are never published so I don't know who they play, its about a 6 game schedule.

Already looking forward to the trip to Cortland next weekend and the inevitable trash talk this week.  Mouth breather, gym teacher, Neanderthal.  Dang, I blew a whole week's worth of material in one post!

Thanks JT.  I'm new at this.  Are there some sites I can visit or some exercises I can do to help?
