First, Congratulations to Kean. I thought Kean was a paper tiger. I was wrong. One heck of a game against Salisbury. You guys represented the NJAC with Honor and Pride. The Coaching staff was well prepared. Again congrat's.

Nice job Fisher. I knew you guys were good, but thought Del Val was  going to be the winner. Congratulations on the way you represent the East.

Wesley, I thought you guys were cooked and came back. I have you guys winning the Walnut and Bronze. Take care of business in Texas. Looking forward to wesleydad's view of the game.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

rams, you will have to go to the ACFC site, not recapping it again, just going to say that it was f'n awesome.

I will have to also say that Kean was better than I thought, battling back to force ot.  Will be interesting to see how Salisbury does against UWW.

Between working outside and watching all the games, I take my hat off to Kean. Their QB looked good in the pocket. No way Salisbury beats UWW after watching todays game. Down to Wesley, the tale of two cities. Go get the Walnut & Bronze.

Congrats to Kean on a great season.  I thought you guys were going to pull it out in OT with the way you guys were playing!
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

I think Kean is great team and know how to win regardless of circumstances. I believe that turnover late in the third gave Kean the spark they needed, before that it looked as if Salisbury was going to pull away. Salisbury looked poised during their last couple of possesions in overtime and the Kean needed a great catch to score. I honestly believe it is going to be tough for Salisbury next week against UWW, but anything can happen when playing against the option, either you stop it out right or you go for a shoot out against it. You can look at the Wabash v. North Central  and maybe the St. John Fisher game, nobody gave them a good chance, but they won. That's why you play the game. Also, what makes playing a playoff so great.

Overall, good game by all teams this weekend and Good Luck to all going forward.

Well Kean...at least YOU went out with dignity.

After seeing the All-Region team it's hard to fathom that Montclair lost a game this year to teams that don't wear purple – much less the likes of TCNJ & Kean.

Thanks.  It was nice to see it again.  It was a very rewarding experience, doing the interviews and writing the article.  I'd like to have the time in the future to pitch Pat on the occasional feature.

No problem with me. I hope your family issues work themselves out.

My son will probably be playing in the NJAC next year. Rowan or TCNJ. I noticed a lot of games are far away and I was surprised. Can anybody tell me how many fans (parents) travel to the away games up in NY, PA and CT? I assume the teams go up and stay over the night before?

Welcome to the NJAC and the DIII boards.  You are correct that the teams typically will travel the day before and stay over when the distance is significant.  As for parents/fans making the trip, I would say it's mostly parents but I could be wrong.  There are exceptions of course.  Cortland whom I am most familiar with generally travels well.  Have had some great times and met some great people tailgating at both home and away games.  Good luck and hope your son and your family enjoy the experience!
