If we beat Willy P and IFIFIFIFIFIFIFIF we get lucky against Cortland, what would you say?  ;)

There is a saying that "If, If was a fifth, we all be drunk!"  :D

Well said. +K After the Willy P game our annual Block Party starts.  ;)

Earlier today I was talking to a friend who is also a big D3 fan and I made the following statement. I think we should beat Willy P, then we go to Cortland and if Mercury is aligned with Jupiter we get away with a lucky win, then Rowan home and the Prof's **** their pants and we are now undefeated in the NJAC. We then build up a head of steam in spite of out HC and OC. I know everyone will send me for a check up from the neck up, but one never knows. ::)

But what happens if Jupiter is aligned with Mars?

Kean leads Brockport 7-6 at the half. The difference is a blocked PAT (oh, Golden Eagle kicking game...)

Western Connecticut 21-20 over Rowan at the half. I'm going to stick my head out the window to look for flying pigs right now...

just got back from the kean game.  kean plays good, tough d.  they controlled the game from the outset.  both offenses had numerous drives stopped by silly personal foul penalties.  there were plenty of flags all day.  i think that brockport will have trouble scoring much on rowan and the kean/rowan game should be a good one.  i think rowan has a slight advantage on offense.  kean has a big back, think his name is kinny who runs hard and busted one for 80 in the 3rd.  brockports o was hurt by several drops that would have been first downs.

with the results of today, brockport and buff st losing, what does that say about the buff st win over uww.  was it a fluke or a sign that uww may be down a step or 2 from their usual level.  time will tell, but from what i saw of kean today, UMHB looks really good being able to score 34 on kean in week one.

The correct answer may be what if Montclair beats Cortland next week. Very long shot, butttttt. ;)

Western will beat either Kean, TCNJ, Morrisville, or Brockport this year.  They played well today but came up just short.  Best game they've played in 2 years.  I know there's no moral victories, but when you haven't won since 2010, today is a moral victory for them.

figured this might be the best place to make this comment.  checking out the top 25 this evening and i see that brockport has 12 votes and kean has 1.  that is a joke, i have no idea how anyone could vote brockort and not vote kean who handled brockport easily saturday.  just goes to show that some of the voters dont pay much attention to what actually happens on the field.

Handled them easily? I watched the game too and it was not easily. What do you have against Brockport? It seems like you are always ready to bash them. Kean is 1-2. Brockport lost by 8 on the road. In the end you are getting riled up over 12 points.

That sounded very defensive and I didn't mean it to sound exactly that way. I am just saying 3-1 vs. 1-2, even when the 1-2 wins at home, usually goes to the 3-1 team in polls. That is just the way it is.

pg, nothing against brockport.  wanted to see them play so i went to the game, 2 hour drive for me.  i actually wanted them to play well, see prior posts, thought this could be a statement game for them.  i have no affiliation with either team.  i know what the score was, but there was never a doubt in my mind as the game played out that kean would not win it.  i understand the records thing and all that but i find it hard to asertain how if you vote for brockport you dont also vote for kean.  if you are a fan of brockport, great, enjoy the season.  next week will be a tough one, rowan's d is similar and as good as keans from what i saw in week 1 against del val.  maybe i expected more from brockport after they beat buff st., just didnt see it this week.  no need to defend your point, you disagree with mine.  the word easily can be taken several ways, may not be the best choice to describe what i saw.  do i think brockport should get votes, probably, but kean should get more.  i have seen 7 teams play so far this year and if i had to rank them brockport would be 7th, just my opinion.
