TCNJ vs West Conn-  If West Conn had any pride on defense they might actually be able to win a game. It seems that they have some weapons on offense but they can't stop any offense. WC should be able to beat Morrisville or WIlly P. As for TCNJ their season will be defined over the next 3 games vs Cortland MSU and Kean

Kean takes care of business and has WPU next week for another win I would say. Then the hard part of their schedule kicks in.

Rowan picks up a solid victory vs Brockport. Brockport is in a hole now but their season is far from over.

MSU vs Cortland- Not surprised by the outcome of this one. Cortland pretty much dominated the whole game. MSU O-line was handled easily by the Cortland front seven. Scoppa being hurt in the 1st qtr was a huge blow and Avento the mlb didnt even play. If Scoppa and Avento dont play vs Rowan this week, it could be very ugly. The defense did give up alot of yards but I think they played pretty well and have been competitive all season. Two stats for the offense on the season that does not bold well is 22% 3rd down conversion and allowing 14 sacks in 5 games. Replacing 4 o-line starters this year has been rough.

With Rowan this week, their front seven is probably just as good as  Cortland if not better so I see the offense struggling once again. Even though MSU is home I see Rowan winning 28-7. If Scoppa and Avento do not play then it could be even a longer day.

Sorry to Montclair fans.  Clearly this is a rebuilding year as that was not the Montclair team that we have come to know.  I'm still not sold on our team yet either.  We were soundly beaten by Buff St. and I am starting to think that their Whitewater win, while special, was a bit of a fluke.  Other than that, we may have played the three worst teams in the NJAC this year.  I think TCNJ away will tell more this coming Sat.   I think our OL is beat up a bit and Montclair exposed our QBs lack of mobility.  On the other hand, Autera is starting to look more like his old self and Miles has been great.  Our receiving corps is deep despite the loss of Babin.  It's clear we can put points on the board against lesser talent.  I am curious to see if that can continue against the likes of Rowan.  I thnk they and Brockport are still probably the teams to beat.  Defensively, we are improving but we still have some vulnerabilities to the pass that a good team can expose.  Best of luck to all.

Crawled out of my cave and decided to congratulate my Red Dragons. Great second half down at TCNJ.  Good luck next week with Brockport.

Congratulations to Rowan on their win.

I did not make todays game. Saw the score on live stats. A little while ago I looked at the box score and the numbers with the exception of yards passing  appeared to be pretty even. Sounds like the secondary got torched. No Scopa, but Roman had 110 yards. Comments from anyone who was there?

Can't believe how bad we are, but I guess HC and OC TENYEAR has a lot to do with it. >:(

Looks like the NJAC may get (2) teams to the dance.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

rams, if rowan runs the table, who else from the njac do you think would deserve to get in?  wouldn't that make all other teams have at least 2 losses.

I'm not saying who will win the NJAC, but it will be between Rowan, Cortland and Kean. Depending how the games play out an 8-2 team may make it. It will be close and depends on the records of the balance of the D3 teams and strength of schedules.

rams, you have to pick the winner or it is tough to say who else could get in.  I just dont see it unless rowan doesnt win it, then there is a chance that their resume gets them in since 1 loss is against a non d3 team.  if they win the njac, no one else will have less than 2 d3 losses and there are just too many other teams right now that would have to lose for another njac team to get in.

Like I sad it depends on the other D3 teams. One never knows. I'm still not sold on Rowan yet. In a few weeks we wll fnd out, but not till then. Cortland will have a test this week. Will they pass or fail?

Don't think a two loss team will get a nod in the playoffs, few years back Rowan was one of three 9-1 teams in the NJAC and missed the dance, of course I doubt 3 teams from any conference would get a bid. Rowan has week off and will get some much needed rest, team banged up in the wide receiver and running back positions and starters have played very little if at all in last two games, hopefully they'll be at full strength and ready for Cortland. From my observations, they have shown some glimpses of past Rowan teams this year !  We will see.

It all depends on the year.  Last year Fisher got in with 2 losses and Ithaca got in (2008, I think?) with 2 losses as the third team from the E8.  So, it's possible, but as you said, Rowan was left out with 1 loss in a three-way tie so nothing is certain if you don't win the AQ.

Come on Kean, don't let me down this weekend.

Ex D3 Athlete

Kean has to bring their "A" game this wkend in Wayne against Willy P, they play tough D @ home
I read the blog on the 2 former NY FOOTBALL GIANTS players they have coaching the defense
Kean qb been putting up good #'s passing but their secondary is pretty good
Should be a battle but if my Cougars want a shot @ the NJAC title they can't afford another loss!

Western loses to Morrisville state 34-33, smh.  Looks like another winless year.

Ugh. This is going to be really bad when/if a New Jersey Team runs the table and possibly "could" have had home games until the Stagg Bowl (This hasn't happened but it could). What a disservice this does to that hypothetical team. Even those that miss two, or even just one game are being shafted. There needs to be exceptions made. It''s not like it's the BCS Championship game.
