There is a big foottball game this Sat. at Cortland. The winner of the game will have the upper hand on the NJAC title. IMHO, Cortland will come out as the better team. Rowan is also having a very good year. They will both have to play Kean who could put a monkey wrench into everything. My guess is that Cortland will win and Rowan will be second. Rowan will have (2) loses and my question is how that will effect the committee with the D2 loss. There may be the shot for (2) coming out from the NJAC.

While looking around the boards yesterday, I noticed that Mount Union has given up only (7) points. Amazing.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Definitely amazing.  To be fair, look at their SOS.  Their D will probably remain #1 in the country going forward but they are going to be facing the better half of the OAC in the coming weeks.

Given that they are 10.5B in debt, seems like pennies...

Maybe, but it might help keep atlantic city alive as well. While atlantic city never lived up to the promises made when gambling was legalized, and the city itself outside the strip leaves something to be desired, it does provide a lot of jobs to South Jersey. At the same time, the expansion of gambling in other states is taking a big toll on the casinos, and offering something no one else around provides might be of some assistance in keeping those jobs in place.

The loss of a few NCAA events, crushing to the students involved and a big issue to those of us who care about these things, is small potatoes to the thousands of jobs and votes tied up in Atlantic City. Of course, I don't think sports gambling is a panacea for Atlantic City, but I can see the rationalization for proceding along the current lines.

I don't disagree, nor would want to discuss anything "political" here...  but much of the Casino revenue for the state of NJ gets sucked into the void that is North Jersey, never to be seen again.  That was always one of the big issues to residents of SJ, that they never saw any of the benefits of haveing the casinos operate in their region...anyway another discussion for another time...

rams, i disagree, i think rowan wins this one.  liked what i saw against del val in week 1 and they have done nothing to change that view.

dlip concurrs, Profs D will stifle the Red Dragons tomorrow. They don't have the offense to be the old "Beast of the East" but they are quite good IDHO.

Wesleydad / Dlip,

Time will tell to see who is correct. We will know who is the leader after they play on Saturday. I like Cortland at home and feel that they will rise to the occasion.

From what I hear Rowan will be at full strength and have their backs and the big wideouts ready for this one, along with some interesting changes on D. Of course I'm bias when it comes to DelVal or Rowan, but I think the winner of this one takes the NJAC. So I like Rowan chances on this one !
