pg04 : I figured it out after I posted. Still licking my Red Hawk wounds this year. I figure I'll set the spread at Montclair +14.5 for next week. Is that enough?  ::)

I think it will be close. Brockport has lost all of its road games in the NJAC this year and are kind of an enigma to me. However, it looks like MSU just doesn't have anything going on this year so it's hard to tell. You've been pretty good on your spreads so I'd go with what you have.

WesConn was crazy last night!!!!  Osborne St Pub was jumping. Rodman was dancing on the bar. Last night, they partied in Danbury like it was 1999.

The Cortland-William Paterson game at William Paterson on Nov. 3 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled due to issues resulting from Hurricane Sandy.

My heart breaks for those Jersey kids who may have lost everything in the storm.  Any word on the other NJAC games being played in Jersey?....I can't imagine that any of those schools are in any position to host or travel due to the horrific damage from the storm.
Taste It!

wesleydad

just checked the rowan website and it states that their game with kean has been changed from sat to sun at noon.  agree dragon, a mess in jersey and it cant be easy for the kids.

Rowan Football Game Versus Kean Cancelled

GLASSBORO, NJ – The football game between Rowan University and Kean University on Sunday, November 4 has been cancelled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Neither team has had time to prepare for the game and many students have been unable to return to the campuses.  Rowan reopened classes on Thursday.  Kean is still without power and the University is closed for the remainder of the week.

Rowan travels to The College of New Jersey for its regular season finale on Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m.
LONG LIVE THE BORO!

If you do ANYTHING, give it your EVERYTHING!

Nice to see you back!   The odds of a Rowan/WU playoff game are not remote....

We may have to start discussing tailgating soon.

If we beat Kean next week and go 5-5 does that make us elegible for an ECAC Bid.  ::) Only kidding my friend. How have you been? Have you survived Sandy? How is your son doing? I think the Football program is in Cahos. Recruiting by sitting back and saying we are MSU just doesn't work and there needs to be major coaching changes. Neitherr will happen, but I had to speak my mind. I'll be ready for next year, but this really sucked this year. My rant is in no way ment at the Great Montclair State Football Players, rather my rant is at the Coaches and their tenyear. I guess someone had to say it, it might as well be me.

Nice comeback today over B-Port and congrat's to all the kids on the Montclait State Football Team

Hey Dave,

Doing good, yeah we survived Sandy, lost power for 2 days, lost some tree's, but no damage to the house.
MSU, I know its a rebuilding year, defense hasn't been stellar and the offense, well, the play calling leaves a lot to be desired at times. Seems like they just couldn''t get things to be consistent for more than one week in a row. ?
Hopefully there will be  lesson's learned from this year and they come back into camp next year with the " Desire" and hopefully some different play calling.

Going to try and make the Kean game, missed a few games this year, purchased a rental property and been dumping a lot of time and energy into getting it ready.

After noticing the front page of D3Football, I think that Rowan / Kean hurt their chances for an at large bid to the NCAA'S by having the game cancelled. I do not know what the conditions were at each sight. What is everyones thoughts?

I think the committee is not going to hold that against them, I believe that they are going to look at it either as if the game never existed or the team favored would have won the game if it was played. Due to the circumstances I wouldn't argue if they looked at it as a win for the teams that were favored. However, if Rowan makes the playoffs, it may effect their seeding.

My thoughts is that not playing would hurt their SOS. A win over Kean would have been a positive. Now we will never know.
