Maybe they stand around Garrett like the police at Div 1 schools and escort him on/off the field.

Eric Hamilton (HC of TCNJ) has been suspended for the first couple of games in 2013. And his son (the DC) was fired/not brought back. They got into an altercation at Kean with some security guards after their game last Oct.

Correction, the game was played at TCNJ and Kean brought their campus police along with them to the game and Coach Hamilton and his Son got into it with them.  Why Kean brought their Campus Police to TCNJ is beyond me, TCNJ has a Campus Police force of their own.  I think there is more to this than is being told.

Pep is wondering the same thing. Is "police protection" a line item in the football program budget at Kean? Are we still talking Division III football here? Here in Mayberry, Sheriff Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife or perhaps a couple of other officers have attended AU games for decades. Back in the 60s and 70s, their primary purpose was to keep inebriated students under control and to keep the dogs off Merrill Field. Of late, they keep the traffic flowing and generally keep an eye on people to maintain the public peace, which, in Mayberry, isn't a real challenge. Heck, our citizens take chase after bank robbers around these parts...

On Saxon Warriors....and GO PIONEERS!!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Like the law enforcement in Mayberry. Looking forward to visiting Mayberry when MSU comes up, if I can scheduel a business trip that week. Can't wait for some D3 Football.  ;D

With less than 100 days, any projections on how the NJAC may go this year? What are the notable games for the NJAC?

ITH radio

Notable list of 5-7 games IMO would include:

Rowan vs. DVC
Montclair vs. LebVal
UMHB vs. Kean
Montclair vs. Alfred
Cortland vs. SJF
Rowan vs. Wesley
Cortaca

Well..according to the new HC at Brockport..they are "loaded"..so I'm going with them. Plus 6 home games.

Well, these are all some great games. I like the Rowan vs. Wesley game and the UMHB vs. Kean game. They're both out of region matchups which is always good. The others look like they could have been ECAC Bowl Mathcups. Other than that the Cortaca game is going to be good to watch, it was a great game last year.

Yeah, Brockport did have some close games last year and a horrible 1st half againts Cortland State. I don't know about winning the conference, if they get back to the level they were in the early 2000s then we may be saying something.

Let's see if we can get a little discussion going on this board. As you all know I am a Montclair homer. I basically looked at who graduated, who lost QB's, OCS and gut feelings. As more shakes out we will all get a chance to revise one more time before August 31st. Here we go :

1. Rowan        6-1    8-2
2. Cortland      5-2    7-3
3. Brockport     4-3   6-4
4. Montclair     5-2    6-4
5. Kean           4-3    5-5
6. TCNJ           3-4    5-5
7. Willy P.        3-4    5-5
8. Morrisville     1-6    1-9  Typo Corrected  :o

I will re-adjust after I study the schedules more, try to get some G2 and re-do late in August. If Rowan goes down to Del Val and has (2) hick-ups in conference they can go by by or they blow everyone out and become the Beast Of The East Again. This could be said for the top(5) teams in the NJAC. It should be an interesting season. IMHO Rowan / Cortland should be the leaders.

Morrisvile 9-1 in conference. Obvious typo, but that record would definitely shock the Division III world.
