I predicted it, I played at Montclair, love my team, my school, my coaches and will always assume they are going to ball out just the way we did when I was there. I played against B port 9/11, we wooped them pretty good, they couldn't handle our physicality, anyways, great win and good luck the rest of the year!

Fred : I love yya but you are killing me. A monkey stomp and not scoring any points? They killed me in my pool. The last time we had 3 loses was in 1995 and the last time we had 2 loses was in 1968. We all know what has to be done, but it will never happen. It's going to be a long few years. ::)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

So who wins the NJAC if there's a 4-way tie at 5-2?

I have no idea how the official tie breaker would go..but I would give it to Rowan..based on..

1. Eliminate TCNJ and Cortland because they both went 1-2 vs  the other 3 respectively.

2. Rowan and Brockport would have finished 2-1 vs the other 3 ..so they would be "left"..

3. Rowan beat Brockport head to head...  you have your champ.

That doesn't say who would actually win..I have no idea..just my 2 cents.

The around the East article on the front page says that only Rowan and Brockport can get the Pool A.

Rowan wins and they are in.

Brockport needs a win and Rowan loss and they are in.

This is exactly correct. The NJAC office confirmed this with the schools earlier this week.

Game 1 tonight..TCNJ at Rowan.  Don't be surprised if TCNJ wins...but tough to pick against Rowan at home..everything is on the line for them. Both have bad offenses...TCNJ's defense might be better than Rowans.

Game 2 Sat. Wow Morrisville didn't handle success very well. 4 straight losses after beating Rowan,  wheras Brockport has reeled off 5 straight wins since losing to Rowan.
Morrisville is another unbalanced team but with a top offense and terrible defense. If Cortland scored 62 points against them last week..Brockport has to be drooling.
The 2 top offenses duke it out..but expect Brockport's improved D to be the difference.

Rowan up 24 to zip @ the half!  ;D

I was guessing a score of 3 - 2 by halftime.  GO PROFS!!!

Congrats to MSU finishing out the season on a good note, good luck and thank you to all of the seniors!

My NJAC prediction in June                                  Final standings 2013

1. Brockport                                             1. Rowan
2.Rowan                                                   2. Brockport
3.Cortland                                                3Cortland
4.Kean                                                     4. TCNJ
5. TCNJ                                                    5. Montclair
6.Montclair                                               6. Morr
7.WP                                                        7. WP
8. Morr                                                    8. Kean

Looks like I was pretty close to predicting the final results. Rowan and Bport switched but they were technically co-champs of the NJAC . Cort prediticted 3 and finished 3. Kean was the biggest disappointment, picked 4 but finished last (SMH about them). I had predicted TCNJ to finish above Montclair and they did. Morr and WP at/near the bottom.
Not patting myself on the back..just fun to look at retrospectively. Not a good year for the North Jersey 3..not acceptable with the talent available. Well..they won't have Brockport to "push around" anymore.

The interim tag has been taken off TCNJ's Wayne "what the" Dickens or Wayne "lil" Dickens if you prefer.
It's a fair move considering he was hired somewhat late and the Lions improved to 5-5 his first season. Keep the good defense ..significantly upgrade the offense.

Somewhat late? Try August 1 – less than two weeks before camp and two weeks after Coach Hamilton retired/quit. The offense lost seven starters from the '12 team, including QB and several skills players. The defense lost five ... From a team which finished 4-6. The NJAC preseason poll had them 7th – only ahead of Morrisville. All things considered, I think Mr. Dickens had a fairly remarkable season. Worthy of NJAC coach of the year – given the circumstances – tho' he won't get it. Frankly, I thought TCNJ might win 0 to 2 games going into the season.

Dude..you sound a little grumpy and need a sense of humor. Maybe start some threads/topics instead of correcting others.  I had TCNJ finishing 5..any problems with that ? Actually it should be Coach Dickens...not Mr Dickens. God forbid anyone have a little fun. You always this defensive about TCNJ ? If I didn't talk about them these days.no one would. Notice I said these days..not 5-10 years ago. You sound a bit one note.

All NJAC team is out. http://www.njacsports.com/sports/2013/11/21/FB_1121133521.aspx?id=4667&

Plays out as expected. Olive branch nod to "Phil"..you were right about The Dickens. Rowan's Accorsi gets Coach of the Year. Meh. I guess because they won the conf. Only other possibilities were Dickens and Mangone.  Major player awards were spread out amongst the teams.
All Conf :
Rowan led with 7 1st team picks
Brockport        5 1st team picks
Morrisville and TCNJ 4 each.
WP 3 (2 were special teams)
And what stands out to me Cortland with only 2 and Kean only 1. Those 2 teams should have more talent. Most of Cortland's past good recruiters are coaching elsewhere now. No idea about the K.
