Fred,

Greetings from Disney. I had us at -10.5 on my NJAC Pici-E'm. I thought we would win by (3) scores, but it appeared to be a little closer from the computer. How about an up-date. Watched later yesterday Guil and SVA on the web. It will not be a walk in the park. Thanks.

Dave !!!
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Lincoln has gone 1-9 each of the last two years under a new coach. They have given up 42 PPG and 47 PPG the past two years. They gave up over 75 points in each of the last 2 games of 2013. Nothing to get excited about beating a D2 team. North Carolina Wesleyan beat them 27-0......only one team since 2012 has scored less against Lincoln.

I actually had a chance to watch that game. The game was against Cheney. I think they mentioned that the head coach for Cheney use to play/coach Division III football at Salisbury. Which would explain Cheney running the option.

So the front-page survey on "who would you least like to be at practice this week" with "anyone om Cortland State" as the most popular answer.

Am I the only one who doesn't get that at all? I personally view that question as the "Players who will be put through a rough practice by a coach who is angry at the poor performance of the team/unit" although that may not be what the question's implying.

But honestly, the Cortland coaching staff probably deserves to run the stadium steps a few times considering lousy coaching decisions led to both of those losses, and I'm sure Dan Macneil recognizes it (If he doesn't, that's a bigger problem). If I'm the coach, putting the players through a rough week is the last thing I want to do right now. I'd take the blame fully for both games, and tell the team we're hitting the reset button, because we've played well enough to be 2-0 and still have a shot at an NJAC title and a 5th straight win over IC.

Not a ghost town, just content where it stands, it's kind of nice that the NJAC gets to play 3 of the top 4 teams in the matter of weeks.

And they get to play in a jewel of a stadium. Should be a great trip for their players, coaches, and fans.

Cortland losing to Morrisville 38-28 with 6:00 to go. What in the world is going on with the Red Dragons? I mean, two confounding losses, sure, but Morrisville?

Upstate

Mo'ville is being coached by former SJF QB Curt Fitzpatrick, give him some athletes with his offensive knowledge and he can get them to put up points!
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Yeah, but coming off a bye, that's a bad loss for Cortland. Morrisville barely snuck by Hartwick, who is dreadful

This Moo'ville grad is proud of his Mustangs who have responded well under Curt FitzPatrick's leadership. They are an up-and-coming team. Pep was more puzzled by their 31-14 loss at St. Lawrence.

Back in May, Pep was visiting Morrisville to see a journalism prof who suggested Pep see the renovated STUAC. So Pep wandered in, looking for the little four-lane bowling alley where Pep's piss poor performance cost his intramurals team a playoff win. Instead, Pep walked right into the Morrisville Football Office. Stumbled into the head coach's office (he looked more like a grad assistant to Pep) and introduced myself to Coach Curt, who treated me like a celebrity, "I've always wanted to meet you. I've read your posts for years." Seems he kept an eye on the boards while at Fisher to be sure his players weren't posting. (No need for coaches to do that....there's a solid investigative unit among posters who are always pleased to "out" a player posting).

Anyway, good win for the Mustangs today!
