Mooville 38, Montclair 20??? Go Mustangs!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

DVgradRUdad

So does that win for Morrisville place Rowan in the drivers seat based on total points against tied opponents ? I recall a few years back when three were tied for first place and Rowan lost out on that criteria ?

I can't answer that for you but I can tell you that your alma mater plays Widener for all of the marbles next Saturday. One team wins and gets a #2/#3 seed in the playoffs. The loser probably gets a #6 seed. Did you play at DV?

I am absolutely stunned by that result. Didn't they lose 31-0 to Rowan?

DVgradRUdad

Yes back in the 70's when it was hard to get a win, I may be a little bias but seeing Rowan play Widener with 6 interceptions and 1 fumble, I think DV should have the advantage but of course thats why they play the game.I expect it to one of the greats. Son played at Rowan 2004-06 so I was a little spoiled.

It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

To be honest we lost to a better team today. Disappointing but reality. As far as the 3 way tie, I would lean twords M-Ville. They are the better team right now and should go. I was at the Montclair/Rowan game and todays loss. The Rowan/Kean game today was not impressive, but a win. Time will tell. I hope Montclair put in for the ECAC'S. ::)

Rams, totally agree with you.  Mville was the better team by far today.  QB is very cool under pressure and runs the ball well too.  They had an answer every time MSU scored.  It was good to see you today.  Keep pounding as I am sure we will meet again next year as Wesley moves to the NJAC.

can someone explain how this works. MSU loses to Del Val (undefeated team) so I imagine that bodes well for strength of schedule. Rowan beats Moville by 35, we beat Rowan and lose to Moville. 3 way tie, who gets the bid?

"keep pounding"

Rowan lost to Wesley and Widener,  both undefeated. M-Ville loses to the Larry's and gets smoked by Rowan 31-0, now Montclair beats Rowan by 10 and loses to Del-Val by 10 and loses toM-Ville by 18. Rowan is not a good team now and M-Ville is, but IMHO , Rowan gets in and gets smoked in the 1st round. Our Redhawks are out. >:(

The way it worked a few years back in a three away tie was head to head scores against all teams in contention, Rowan beat Morrisville 31-0, plus 31 Rowan, Morrisville beat Montclair 38-20, plus 18 Morrisville, Montclair beat Rowan 20-16, Montclair plus 4, Rowan wins by 13 ! I'm not saying its the best way but the same process left a 9-1 Rowan out of the playoffs, the other two were in! One as the NJAC champ the other at large. All that being said who knows what criteria will be used in the conference this year ?

DVgradRUdad

Agree, I believe Morrisville would have the best chance in the dance, they have the potential to light things up and create some big momentum.
