No. If Rowan loses, then Morrisville and MSU are tied for first, with Morrisville owning the H2H win

Do the officials from the NJAC live in a bunker? Do the coaches/AD's from the three schools really have no idea what is going on heading into the final week of play?

The MAC has such a simple, defined, understandable, publicized methodology for three way tie breakers.

Maybe the NJAC needs to make a phone call to Annville, PA (MAC Headquarters) to figure out a better way. This is insane :'(

I'm not a coach, I played at MSU, and am now just a supporter of my alum and former coaches.  I have no clue how this works, both times I made the playoffs at MSU, 01 was an at large bid and 03 we won the NJAC. I am just trying to figure out if A there is anyway possible MSU can get the automatic bid and B if that's not the case what would have to happen for them to be considered for an A large bid.

MSU Pride - The fact that you or any of us have to even wonder about any of this is insane in and of itself. The tiebreakers should not be shrouded in mystery and secrecy. We should all know them heading into and coming out of Saturday ;)

1. I can't answer the auto bid question.

2. They will not get an at-large bid barring insanity across the country that is probably too detailed to even fully comprehend right now. They'd need at least three upsets in the East region to even get to the table.

MSU Pride

Bombers, thank you! Now can anyone explain to me what (if even remotely possible) has to happen for Montclair State University to get the NJAC title and auto bid.

The tiebreaker recently changed.  In a three-way tie, Rowan wins based on one of the weirdest tiebreakers I've seen: "first-half score differential between the three tied teams."  Rowan is +24 while the other teams are -20 and -4.  If Rowan loses, Morrisville wins the AQ.  Montclair cannot win the NJAC AQ, and it is severely unlikely Montclair would ever get to the Pool C board.  I'm sorry to break the news to you this way -- that tiebreaker is more hideous than the OOWP tiebreaker from yesteryear.

Frank - The NJAC needs to take a page out of the MAC's book regarding three way ties.

Point differential for a FULL GAME between the three teams with a maximum of 17 points per game.

That NJAC tiebraker is insane :'(

Can someone explain this to me, am I reading this correctly? I was under the impression that Montclair would not be in a position to get an automatic bid, but I just read that if TCNJ beast Rowan we get the bid?

"Because it held first-half leads in a 31-0 win over Morrisville State and a 20-16 loss to Montclair State, the two teams it is tied with atop the conference, Rowan is playoff-bound with any kind of win Friday. With a loss, Montclair would need only beat 2-7 Kean to get in. Morrisville State, 8-2 and off this week, needs two 2-7 teams to pull upsets to receive the automatic bid"

So Rowan loses to TCNJ and we put 40 on Kean, who goes to the dance? I thought it was Rowan but that's not what it said today on the d3football.com predictions page
