Regarding the Rowan win -- it sure looks to me like they are in with the AQ, since they win all of the tiebreakers.

D3MAFAN

Congrats to Rowan on obtaining the NJAC AQ.

wesleydad

They may be the worst of the 3 teams right now.  Only winning 14 - 6 against C of NJ is pretty weak.  They are looking like 1 and done with that poor offense.  Too bad for Morrisville, but they lost to Rowan 31 - 0 so they dont have much to complain about.

MSU Pride

Sour grapes on my end, tough pill to swallow, we beat Rowan head up with that huge o line and all, they get the AQ for effing point differential in the first half.

Agree with you Wesley, you saved me from a sour grapes post on last nights game. Good luck againts Charlotte.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

D O.C.

Just watched the D3 Play of the Week. Has this been mentioned since the Ithaca game? The video opens up with a play before the field goal team tried to get on the field. #92 Ithaca obviously loses his helmet. Great duck and cover by the guy because the refs missed it. If they called it we wouldn't have had the Play of the Week.

I don't want to hear about schools struggling financially and cutbacks within the athletic department. This is obscene!!

If you dig into Kean's recent, ugly past, this is just another case of the administration run amok.
1) Kean just spent $1.8 million to settle a wrongful dismissal lawsuit levied by the former Athletic Director after he was fired for going to the NCAA to blow the whistle on the women's basketball program
2) The same women's basketball program whose coach falsified grades and created classes for ball players only
3) The same women's basketball program that's been banned from the postseason the last two years and caused all 13 of the university's athletic teams to be on NCAA probation until April 18, 2016
4) Which would lead to former athletes suing both Kean and the NCAA
5) Kean almost lost their Middle States accreditation. The Middle States Commission on Higher Educationput the school on probation for numerous violations of academic and ethical rules. The crisis would lead to calls for President Farahi's dismissal by college professors as students and parents questioned whether the school would lose its accreditation, a step that usually leads to a college shutting down. This would lead to a 7% drop in enrollment.
6) Then there was the sit-in protest by students and a petition to oust President Farahi after he admitted that he falsified claims about his accomplishments before he was hired in 2003. Critics say the articles Farahi claimed he had written in dozens of publications do not exist.

...and now a $200k+ table? Well, at least he handled things well when asked about the purchase made without competitive bidding:
"It is small-minded to focus on the university buying a $200,000 table," Farahi said in a recent interview. "Why not?" he responded when asked about the purchase. "Why not? Why not?"

Apparently President Farahi is a graduate of the Kim Jong-un school of publicity & public speaking. Perhaps he should be a little more concerned about his students as only 25% graduate on time and only half in 6 years.

Happy Thanksgiving NJAC fans.  I will be all over this board next year.  Looking forward to meeting many of you when we play your team.  The addition of Wesley, Salisbury, and CNU raises the level of play here and makes the NJAC one of the strongest conferences in the Nation.

Ok Wesleydad! CNU's season is over. Hope you enjoyed the game. Now I will sit in this room and wait for you to show up after Wesley's season is completed. Hopefully that will be after a trip to Salem!

Of course I do!  I know the NJAC teams will give Wesley a thorough testing.  Remember that Wesley's only regular season losses to DIII teams in the last 8 years or so other than UMHB have been  to NJAC teams (Montclair State, Rowan, Kean).  So, it should be an interesting year with a lot of good games.

I'm hoping the MAC and NJAC continue with the MAC/NJAC challenge...
It would be great to see Wesley/Lyco, Del Val or WU matchups in the coming years as OOC games...
