KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Ha!

I'm not so sure they want you comin in...:)

And congratualations on your first NJAC title....(in advance)... ;)

Of course I do!  I know the NJAC teams will give Wesley a thorough testing.  Remember that Wesley's only regular season losses to DIII teams in the last 8 years or so other than UMHB have been  to NJAC teams (Montclair State, Rowan, Kean).  So, it should be an interesting year with a lot of good games.

-Ski

I'm hoping the MAC and NJAC continue with the MAC/NJAC challenge...
It would be great to see Wesley/Lyco, Del Val or WU matchups in the coming years as OOC games...

bman: the MAC earlier had a two-year "challenge" with the Presidents' Athletic Conference; it wasn't repeated. I've heard nothing about repeating the "challenge" with the NJAC (but that surely doesn't mean it won't happen).

Now with the NJAC having a full nine-game non-conference slate again, they may be more willing to re-up and completely lock in their schedules for two years. Or they may be less so. Not sure all 10 coaches will want to give up their one non-conference game.

Hope you're doing well, Warren!

I think they should do a NJAC vs. Empire 8 Challenge, since both conferences has been very active in taking/trading teams from each other.

I think the only caveat for Wesley is trying to schedule a tougher game to hike up the SOS.

Honestly, there's not a lot Wesley can do to game their SOS.  In the best case scenario, they can get to .530.  Maybe a smidge higher.  But that's all you can do in a 10-team round robin conference.  Your SOS is pretty much anchored to .500 like the rest of us.   :)

Where you can, maybe, help yourself with the non-league game is to play somebody that could wind up regionally ranked.  You can't really differentiate yourself from other at-larges by SOS anymore, but you can differentiate yourself with quality wins.  But that's a bit of a crap shoot (unless you want to sign up for a September game with one of the other heavyweights nobody wants to play...which would be silly strategically).

Nah, only when he opens his mouth or appears in public, he's a politician, he can't help himself.

Does it really matter 2 through 5. I think it becomes subjective. They are all good and then you can throw in the MAC for #6.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

bman

I don't think I'd put the MAC that high... :-[

What is nice is that no one was real clear on if the NJAC/MAC challenge was going to continue...looks like it is.  I couldn't find an announcement on either site...
