Wesley/Southern Virginia looks like it's postponed for now. Start may be pushed back to later Saturday or Monday night.

Big news!  Thanks Jason for the heads-up!  Rather safe than sorry.

Wesley College Football.... A Winning Tradition not to be soon forgotten!

@d3jason

Delaware and Delaware St are home and playing.

   Have any of you heard anything from wesleydad? I noticed that he hadn't done any of the various pick 'ems yet, and when I checked further saw that his most recent post was on Monday 9/28. Very unusual for him to be absent that long during the season. Maybe the Wesley folks have some insight.

I hope everything is OK!!

@d3jason

I saw him out in Naperville on Saturday. We had to rush out after the game to make our flight. His Facebook page says he checked into a brew pub three hours ago so he's probably in good shape.

  Thanks jason, that's good to hear. Although if he stays in that brew pub too much longer there's no telling what shape he might be in.
  Ypsi you are probably right, plus I also remembered that Wesley is playing Southern Virginia this week so he may not feel the need to be as focused as usual.

Especially since the game has been postponed due to Joaquin.

Thanks for the concern guys.  Busy week didnt allow me to get on D3 much to post.  Plus you are correct, not much to say about a game that was going to be ugly early.  I was not even planning on going with the early weather forecast, now that it is canceled I am glad I did not make plans to go.  All is good, things will start getting interesting in a couple of weeks when Wesley gets Rowan, Montclair, and Salisbury in a row.  As a big brew pub fan I am always in good shape since there are some real good ones around my house and yes you might say I am still celebrating last weeks win, it was a good one.

Wesley-SVU game set for Monday at 4.

Also, I think its time Wesley sets up video for its home games, or at least brings back the live stats. Its interesting, 5-6 years ago, quite a few teams had no way for you to follow their games. Now the scoreboard on d3football.com has a link of some sort to almost every game every week!

Are you telling me that a top program like Wesley doesn't have Live Video/Audio and Live Stats for their home games? I had no clue. How is that even possible???

They have audio from WDEL. The commentary team is one of the best in D3. Just no video unless a team or the NCAA comes in and sets up their own. MIT and Ithaca are two teams to have done it in the past. Live stats were done in years prior. I just like to have something to look at while I'm listening.

I'm just surprised as the majority of programs, even the lower tier programs have home video and live stats. Has anybody talked to the AD about how relatively simple it is? DelVal does it for all sports, including women's volleyball.

dedragon

Oh, Wesley has live stats, only if the internet connection is working out at the pressbox. It can be hit or miss. I'm sure it will be up and working for the next home game.  Also, since Coach Drass is also the AD, I'm sure he is aware of it and not happy.

That pressbox has its share of demons over the years. Almost electrocuted a former SID, seriously could be the setting for a Stephen King novel, al la Christine.
