Hard to fool anybody with passing from the triple  option look.  I didn;t see any other formations yesterday .I am sure they have a passing look but how well they run their route after  not running patterns all year may help Wesley defense

Looks like we may get to a game this weekend!!!Looking forward to see Wesley play!!!

Either the game is going to be very competitive, or it will be a blow-out victory in Wesley's favor. If I knew for sure it'd be a solid game I'd drive down, but I'm far too apprehensive. I'll stick to watching it online.

I'm sorting out the specifics, but it looks like I will be in Dover this weekend! Preliminary forecasts call for a high of 63 degrees and a 60% chance of precipitation. If that weather pans out (who knows, my weather app on my phone changes its mind by the minute!), it doesnt seem to favor the Sea Gulls.

As far as the playoff picture goes for Wesley, pending they handle Salisbury and Willy P, it would seem they would wrap up a #1 seed. With the way these past few weeks have shaken out, I see Wesley and Mount on the same side of the bracket, with Hardin-Simmons and Linfield heading up the other side because Mount and UWW will ALWAYS be on the opposite sides of the bracket until they stop meeting in the Stagg. I dont see the NCAA paying for more flights than they have to (unless they take it back to 2011). If it goes according to region, I would think UWW gets lumped in with Linfield, and UMHB with Hardin-Simmons. I think Wesley may see Johns Hopkins pushed east. UWO would go either with Linfield or to the Mount bracket (maybe?) because of a potential rematch with UWW depending on seeding. Perhaps the same would be held for St. Thomas. The west is really stacked!

OR, the west region takes 2 of the #1 seeds and either Hardin-Simmons or Wesley is left out to dry. Under that circumstance, I would think Wesley would be thrown in with Mount (only a busride).

EDIT: And to preview for this game, I think the defense is going to really have to play smart football. I think mental lapses by some players have cost touchdowns (i.e. biting hard on play actions, linebackers out of position). If they can do that, the coaches can stop the Salisbury offense, but if they get too caught up in the game then Wesley may be in for a shootout.

I think the offense will be just fine. IMO the offense is actually better this year compared to last years. Baynard has emerged as a go-to back who can run between the tackles, and receivers like Okike, Shade, and Kemp have more than filled the void left by Koudossou.

I think it's probably too early to say who will be on what side of the bracket.  If the NCAA is trying to project all the way out to the semifinals, then Wesley and Mount Union should be paired together.  Of course if either team loses prior to that, the NCAA could get burned.

UMHB and Hardin-Simmons absolutely will be paired together, not just in the same bracket but they'll play in the first round.  There's really no way around that.

I'll be really curious as to what the committee will do with Whitewater specifically.  They could definitely exist in a westerly bracket that includes Oshkosh or St. Thomas (I'm not sure I can see both of those teams in the same quadrant)  and Linfield.  However, if there is a need to take one of those teams and shift them into a bracket that has some more Midwestern teams (Wheaton, Wabash, Franklin...Mount Union), the team to go would be Whitewater.  Whitewater lost a game and they've lost all of the protections afforded to teams that played well in the prior year's championship.  I don't think it's crazy to not only see Whitewater on the same side of the bracket as Mount Union, but they could possibly be in the same region.

You left out the one guy who is going make the biggest difference in the playoffs - Kyle George at TE.  The more they get the ball to him, the more the safeties have to stay at home.  That opens so much for everyone else. It is fair to say that Wesley's offense is well balance right now. There is no way opponents can just key on one or two people.

Yeah, I noticed Kyle's increase of productivity as well.  I really think that Koudossou was an easy pick for Callahan and that resulted in the dearth of targeting of George last year.  Callahan is scrambling more than ever and is really doing an awesome job keeping his eyes downrange.  I have to agree that this offense is just about as good or better than Wesley has had for as long as I have been watching them.  Its flexibility is going to be the saving grace for Wesley into the playoffs.  They will have to be hot each and every game if the defense cannot get hooked up at some point...... The coaches were absolutely sold on Callahan when he showed up as a freshman.  Their assessment was spot-on.

Are RPI, Alfred, and WNE better than Rowan/Salisbury?  I don't think so...

Watching Salisbury the past few weeks, I think so, there is no consistency with their defense and I think each of those teams have a chance. Rowan in the other hand, I think can beat them because if their defense.
