I was pretty surprised as well that no other NJAC teams were ranked.

Salisbury's loss to CNU really sunk the pool C chances of the NJAC both for themselves and Rowan. Obviously Salisbury can recover but it's harder to see Rowan's road back to true C contender.

CNU85

Crazy how things are panning out. I think even if Salisbury were to crush Wesley, it would hurt Wesley more than it would help Salisbury. Losing to a 1-6 team in CNU isn't viewed very highly.

This season is starting to shape up like one of my rounds of golf. For most of the round I suck so bad it is amazing they let me on the course. Then the last few holes I play really well and think I should play another 18.....

??? Idk. We'll see how things pan out these next two weeks. I just really feel that Rowan and Salisbury are two talented teams that are better than some of those in the regional rankings. I've accepted that they won't be in the playoffs -- barring a miracle -- though both teams could certainly make some waves if they were given the chance.

Talent is not a criteria though.

If Salisbury wins this week, then you could very well have two NJAC teams in the playoffs......

There's no way Salisbury's going to beat anyone of real significance w/their defense being that lousy...

Are RPI, Alfred, and WNE better than Rowan/Salisbury?  I don't think so...

Don't mean to start an argument...(which probably reveals true intentions) and Pep doesn't know a whole lot about Rowan other than the Profs' scores this season (which are not overly impressive) but a mediocre 5-5 Saxon squad actually beat Salisbury AT Salisbury last year, 23-21. Does that mean the Saxons are better than Rowan and Salisbury? Not sure, but AU is playing better this year than last while RPI has lost only to AU and St. Lawrence, both RR. WNE...not a lot to compare to but they haven't lost a game yet.

So you are telling me you'd happily let Salisbury win, so two teams from the NJAC would be in the playoffs? haha

I know how we can settle this, sans an argument. E8 & NJAC agree to their own bowl series like MAC/CC.

Really?  It was simply a statement and not some sort of wish.

Only the playoffs will answer this question.  We will see how good the Saxons are when they start hitting the 2nd and 3rd rounds......

That deserves some exploration. Pep is betting that Cortland State would love to see their Jersey cousins again!

Not sure if that is true.  They would likely have at least 2 loses in the NJAC also.  Interesting the MAC/CC bowl challenge.  ECAC may have started their own end with the neutral site idea.

I think you are right about that.  Something tells me that they were warned about the implications of doing so.
