Not sure if that is true.  They would likely have at least 2 loses in the NJAC also.  Interesting the MAC/CC bowl challenge.  ECAC may have started their own end with the neutral site idea.

I think you are right about that.  Something tells me that they were warned about the implications of doing so.

Yeah. I'm assuming they had an idea what would happen with the southern teams and are simply retrenching anyway.

Wesley College Football.... A Winning Tradition not to be soon forgotten!

Wesley v Salisbury and SLU v Hobart should be two good games.

I think TCNJ will beat SVU soundly by a couple tds.

Frostburg State over Montclair State? Would make for a good game next week against Salisbury.

Rowan will easily beat Kean.

CNU should get their second win of the season over Willy P.

wesleydad

dont see this game being close.  Wesley will score 40+ maybe 50+.  The gulls will move the ball but do not have the horses to outscore Wesley.  20+ point win and on to Willy P.  Looking for Rowan to win so they get ranked.  expect St Lawrence to beat Hobart and Alright to beat Stevenson.  The next 2 weeks will be interesting around the nation to see who moves up or down.

NJAC championship game day.  Winner take all.  Weather looks like it will be ok.  Cloudy right now.  With the change I am sure the wind will be blowing in Dover.  I want to see the defense step up its game today.  They know what Salisbury is going to do.  Shut it down.  Also want to see the offense continue to be balanced, but with the weak secondary play of Salisbury I expect passing to rule the day.  Special teams needs to improve, coverage is there, just have to make tackles.  A Wesley loss puts them in a tough spot for a Pool C bid since Albright is sitting there with 1 loss and a win over Salisbury.  If they are the first team on the board from the east they may never get chosen.  I am not sure how the committee would rank the teams.  Don't lose so you don't have to worry about it.  Much better to see what #1 seed you are, hoping to be the 3 to avoid the semi match up with Mount since they will likely be the #1 one seed.

A one loss Wesley team would probably get a pool C bid even if there were only 2 to give out.  Also, a team of their caliber who actually has reasonably legitimate aspirations to contend for a title shouldn't care what round they inevitably face Mount Union.  That old saying - to be the best you have to beat the best.

Ok with that but I would like to beat the best in the final game if that means getting to the final game.  Want to get to the final game at some point.

I agree, but weeks of practice matter. UMU and UWW have consistently gotten a half season of extra practices every year. Is this what made them great? No. They had to be great to earn them. But it does help to stay on top and prepare the underclassmen for the next year. Is it a huge deal to face UMU round 2 versus round 4? No. You still have to win if you want to win the championship, but those extra 2 weeks of practice are a big bonus.

There is a reason all teams get basically the same number of practices pre-season. Getting weeks and weeks extra in the post-season is not to be scoffed at.

True.  More experience is never a bad thing.  Previous statement is retracted.

This is my first time watching a Wesley stream. No audio?

Looks like Salisbury is about to take the lead.

Maybe if Salisbury's secondary could tackle they'd be 7-0 like they should be.

Salisbury is getting a lot of pressure on Callahan, but he is poised and making plays as SU db's can't keep up with Wesley's talent.

Tied at 7.

Edit: Wesley is absolutely destroying SU's offense now. Pretty sure the games going to become lopsided after that display.

Now SU is chopping Wesley's D to pieces...maybe this game is going to be close after all...

I'm so confused... in a good way.

14-14!

If it wasn't for two big plays, SU would be up 21-7. Were those two big plays a display of Wesley dominance or the defense's ineptitude?

Question for Wesley fans, does Callahan usually do this much running? He just picked up a nice chunk of yardage.
