Hobart game a couple years ago where Wesley won 12-0 was pretty bad.  The Muhlenberg game in the playoffs was the coldest at 15 degrees.  THAT was not fun.  Wesley won that game 20-0 to go on to get slammed by UMHB a week later in the next round.  Pennewell hurt his ankle in the cold and that was that.....

I believe it was Hopkins in a rain, sleet, snow weather game that was 12-0.  Remember having to push about a half dozen cars out of the tailgate area with Jason and his friend Nick.  It was the worst I have been in for any game.

Imagine... an NJAC National Championship Game: SU v. Wesley. There must be a <1% of this happening, but it'd be glorious. The other regions would probably boycott the game.  :P

Not necessarily, I think many would enjoy it, both teams would have to knock off Two Top 9 teams along the way, each would have at least 3 road games. The only thing that matchup would indicate is that each one of the teams earned it and that east region can play with the big boys, which is all the other regions really want.

Pretty much all the regions have been non competitive except UWW and Mount.

Yeah, you are right, it was JHU.  That was a miserable game.

I don't think we have to worry about it but I wouldn't boycott it either. I love option offenses, so I'd definitely watch. And I have some affinity for Wesley having seen them play in AL 3x. As I said in a thread about St. Lawrence and UMU, until the final whistle there is always a non-zero probability of something happening. The fact that I have to use the term "non-zero" is a pretty good indication of reality...

Unfortunately, I think Mount has the easiest path to the Stagg with how the seedings fell.....

Nope. They just get their nightmare a week early.  ;)

That's what I was thinking too.  At least it will save us a 7 hour drive.....
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Good luck to WC and SU this weekend!!

Yeah, it is pretty cool that Wesley and Salisbury won't have to trip over each other in the playoffs this year.  I hope that SU can get to Linfield.

I expect both teams to win.  Wesley rather comfortably and Salisbury like they did last week, in a close one.  I think that even though the Wesley defense is not that good in our eyes they will be close to or better than any defense Framingham has seen this year.  I am sure that this will be the best offense they have tried to defend against this year.  I like Salisbury despite the poor performance last week because it looks like Cortland is losing some of its offense from the beginning of the year.  Both teams will score, I just think the Gulls will score more.

I agree with your assessment, this will be the best Defense Framingham State has played against since they played against Ithaca back in 2013, which is a game the Rams should have hosted (weather issues) and won, let them off the hook. If I can recall that same Ithaca team played the Wolverines close the following week.

A perfect, if not a bit nippy, day for football!  If Wesley plays like they can, they should be able to take care of business today.
