Oh well.  Wesley made a game of it for a while there.

A long run probably closes it out as it's 56-35 with 4 minutes left.

That was a repeat of JHU last week with a broken run into the open......

THat 6 minute stretch at the end of the 2nd quarter was deadly. But they should be proud to have played so well in the 2nd half.

??? Again. Mount passing on 1st down?
Something wrong with that?
Considering they had thrown an interception on 1st down a couple of possessions before, I'm probably running some clock in that situation.

Yes, in that situation when you've owned the line of scrimmage  YOU SHOULD RUN THE FREAKING BALL!!!!
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I am impressed Wesley was able to do what they did considering they had 5 turnovers.  Take away a couple silly plays and Wesley could have made this a closer game.  Hats off to Joe Callahan for putting up one hell of a fight to finish out his career.  The UMU announcers were really impressed with his abilities.  Now to deal with the void.  Well done to Wesley for another great season.  You guys rock.  Pure and simple.

Hard to run against 11 n the box.  Better time management is to move the chains with controlled passing into single coverage and stay in bounds.  Think of them as long handoffs.

Today, Callahan became the first quarterback in DIII history to pass for over 5,000 yards in a single season.  WOW!!!!!  Big time congratulations to Joe for blowing up the record books.  Incredible.  If he doesn't get the Gagliardi Trophy, there will be a miscarriage of justice.

Congrats To Wesley on a great season.  The turnovers were the killer today.

Great to see the team not quit after going to 21-0 early, and really staying with it in the 2nd half.  Callahan is a competitor & tough kid.

WD - great to see you as always, and have a safe journey back.

That's remarkable.  He beat the old record by almost 500 yards.  [yes, I had to look it up]

I think Mount Union will be glad not to see him again.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.
