DiPersio where is my ticket at!?! LOL

Man, where's all your connections?

They are still there, they know who they are. Saturday's are just so hard for me. My kids have no interest in football, they are 13 and 11 year old girls!! They do dance. I settle for listening/watching on my phone or following the live stats. I'm a little biased of course, but I enjoy listening to Tommasino and Cooper on air. They are always fun to listen to and do an excellent job of calling the game, especially on radio.

The life of a dance dad!! It never ends!! My daughter is a professional dancer. She's been in Chicago, NYC, TN and now a cruise ship. At the old age of 25.

2 games in 1 day.  Salisbury/Montclair could be a good one.  The Gulls look pretty strong right now and the Red Hawks are going to have to be mistake free and take advantage of any Gull mistake.  May not see the end of this game as the road trip continues to Christopher Newport for the Wesley game.  Defense is going to have to be better against the pass if the CNU QB keeps up his stats from games 1 and 2.  Going to hang with CNU85 and d3jason after the game.  Great weather on top of it will make for a nice little road trip.

And after the very nice piece on CNU, I will buy Jason the first round, or two!

Salisbury up 21-7.

Just realizing now I missed a ton of njac action last night...

Red Hawks Pride

Salisbury up 21-7, their offense is powerful, Montclair can play with this team, very impressed by the refs in this game, just bc they run a tripple option does not make it ok to chop block, they aren't playing dirty, not at all but they cut from all angles, that's what they do and the refs have been doing a very good job at calling it when it is not legal. Montclair has opportunities on offense, a few penalties stalled drives. We get the ball at the half and need to score...

Final score was 40-20. Waiting for teams to figure out how weak SU's corners are. There were times when Montclair was on the cusp of putting it all together, but then they just want back to a vanilla run game.

The score could easily have been 49-7, if SU didn't waste the drive before the half and if their secondary was better.  SU is going in to an easy two-game stretch, but I expect the back end of their season to be difficult because teams will see what happened when Albright and MSU passed the ball.

MSU has an extremely talented RB and QB. Yes, the QB may be a little inconsistent, but he has such talent. He threw a dime pass reminiscent of an Eli Manning pass when the Giants faced the Patriots, the second time, in the SB.

There were a ton of personalities today. None were the result of dirty play, but this officiating crew has there own spin on the rules. I thought, on both sides, some penalties were unwarranted, but what can you do... Salisbury's HC was having conniptions on the sidelines; not sure if that'll do much with referees.

So far CNU has the Wesley defense's number.  14-7 in the first......  Good team!  Luckily, Wesley was able to drive just as effectively on their first drive.  Hope that continues.....

An insane pass from Kesack to Shade on a 3 and goal from the 17 ties the game up.  20 yards of penalties almost killed the drive..... whew.  Wesley is really sharing the ball around.

End of the first with CNU driving.  CNU's passing scheme is tearing up Wesley's secondary.  A mix of slants and bubble screens is causing havoc right now.  Their running back is slicing and dicing it as well.  Thankfully, Wesley's offense is keeping up for the time being.

2 interceptions keep Wesley out of the endzone in the 2nd quarter......gah......  Wesley trails 21-14 at the half.  I am happy with the defensive adjustments Wesley made at the end of the half, so there is a lot of promise yet in the game.  Wesley receives after the half.  Would have been nice to be tied though.....

Wesley's defensive stop halts CNU and the offenses a beautiful run later by Baynard to tie the game.... 21-21 in the 3rd.

21-21 at the end of the 3rd.  Wesley's defense is dialing in nicely, stopping CNU within the 35 on 3 occasions without a score.

Turnovers killing Wesley today!  Kesack fumbles inside the 20.  Lost scoring opportunity.  Second fumble lost for Wesley today.  Frustrating!

Wesley down 35-21 with less than 7 minutes left.  Oh well, it was a good 12 year playoff run wasn't it?    :'(
