So Salisbury stepped on the gas and rolled down the windows.
Nice defensive effort.

Really, against SVA.  What did you think they would do, give up 20?

I think this was in response to Salisbury slow start...They did not score their first touchdown until about 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter (scored two more shortly after).

If we can win our next 2 and knock off CNU maybe we get a vote in the ERFP.  ;D

I had to watch the Rowan MSU game from my cell this weekend while at a wedding LOL...A win is a win, being in tough games like this, overcoming some errors and going 50 yards for a score is a major confidence booster for this team, Rowan is very good football team and we can build off of this, cannot look past Willy P, this cannot be a trap game. I gotta be honest, our RB might be one of the best in the Country, you can't get a clean shot on this kid no matter what and when you think he is down, he comes out of a pile and rushes for a TD...Montclair used to take cut ups of the game's best plays and put together a two min highlight film to post on their youtube page, I wish they still did, because if they did, you would be able to see this play, it was the go ahead TD, just some type of inside zone read, he runs into the pile, gets swallowed from what seemed to be the entire Rowan defense and all of the sudden appears past a sea of Yellow and runs in for a score.

Mine knows the deal during football season........High School Football on Friday Nights, College on Saturday's, NFL on Sunday's. I'll be at the Eagles game tomorrow as well!! Have a blast Jason!

It was a beautiful evening to watch a football game. As a Steelers fan, there wasn't much to cheer about. The Eagles execution was impressive on both sides of the ball and Big Ben looked a little off. Wentz was great again.

Funny thing was the guy behind me kept asking all the people to sit down so he could watch the game. He was a young with no apparent physical limitations, but he whined about it the whole game. Obviously, Eagle fans had a lot to cheer about, so we were up on our feet a lot. I finally told the guy if he wanted to sit down he should have stayed home on the couch and watched on TV.

Southern Virginia is running the triple option like the Gulls now. It will be interesting to see how committed to it they are and how having two teams that run it in the conference affects others ability to defend it. They completed just 1-of-15 passes with 4 interceptions.

Well then, they actually completed 5 of 15 passes....1 for the good guys, 4 for the bad guys.  ;)

I think the Red Hawks lead the nation in 70-yard plus touchdowns this season. They have four in three games, three by Distefano. Two others TDs were 30-yard plus passes. Five of the nine they've scored are 30-yards plus.

The new coach Joe DuPaix was once the slot coache for Navy back in 2008-2010 and that's how you get the option brought to Southern Virginia. It is well noted that typically teams with smaller guys and somewhat an Athleticism disadvantage run the option to use mis-direction and sorts to make up for that gap in size and talent. Southern Virginia has a very limited recruiting pool to choose from, so it makes since. If they can get to the 5 to 6 win mark, you can see them continue to get better recruits and open it up or choose to be like Salisbury and turn it into a Ferrari that will eventually get bulldozed by the various Bulldozers of DIII.

Interesting week in the NJAC.  Wesley will go to So Va and win the game easily with So Va running the option and no chance of taking advantage of the weak pass defense.  CNU travels to Rowan who has to be pissed about the loss last week to Montclair.  CNU struggled on offense and maybe it was a hangover from the victory over Wesley the week before.  Frostburg and Kean may be a snore fest as both teams offenses struggle to score.  Salisbury did not light up So Va last week and was in a scoreless tie in the 2nd quarter.  TCNJ stayed with CNU last week with a tough defense, but no offense.  Will be interesting to see if Salisbury struggles on O again.  Montclair should pick up a win against Willy P.  May end up at the Rowan game if the weather forecast changes and the rain exits before 6 on Saturday.

Who sits at an NFL game anyway? Obviously he was not a true football fan. You should have asked him to turn in his mancard!
