Interesting week in the NJAC.  Wesley will go to So Va and win the game easily with So Va running the option and no chance of taking advantage of the weak pass defense.  CNU travels to Rowan who has to be pissed about the loss last week to Montclair.  CNU struggled on offense and maybe it was a hangover from the victory over Wesley the week before.  Frostburg and Kean may be a snore fest as both teams offenses struggle to score.  Salisbury did not light up So Va last week and was in a scoreless tie in the 2nd quarter.  TCNJ stayed with CNU last week with a tough defense, but no offense.  Will be interesting to see if Salisbury struggles on O again.  Montclair should pick up a win against Willy P.  May end up at the Rowan game if the weather forecast changes and the rain exits before 6 on Saturday.

What games have you decided to go see?

As of right now, none.  I was going to head to Bridgewater, but with rain forecast from Pa to Bridgewater for much of Saturday morning at least, I do not feel like driving 4 hours in the rain.  I may catch some games on computer, but if the forecast is correct, I may take a 30 min ride to Rowan and catch your boys against the Profs at 6.  It could be a good game.

I'm with ya.  It's raining here now. I was trying to decide if I wanted to jump in the car and go for a 5 hour drive to Rowan. The rain is heading from here straight to Rowan. I would preobably end up driving with the storm the entire trip. So, I will stay home. I have an exam to prepare anyway. Cold brew in the fridge. A nice German Dunkel. 🍺

Wesley O line is just not good.  Nice jump of the route by SVA d back and Wesley looks like they may be in for a long day.

Nice drive after missed field goal.  Looks like they should rely on the run more since the O line seems to run block better than pass block.

Well, maybe not a long day after all.  Poor punt snap and 1 play drive and Wesley up 14-0.  No fear of the pass so Wesley D is just crashing gaps and blowing up the option.

Looking a little better.  35-9 late first half.

The amount of penalties piled up by the Wesley offense is diabolical!   I have seen a lot of games with tons of Wesley penalties, but I have never, ever seen Wesley commit so many penalties within 60 minutes.  The SVU announcers were stunned at the amount of penalties that Wesley is getting.  They noted how good Wesley is, but with all of the penalties and mistakes, it is holding the team back in a big way.  We have seen this in the past, but this year?  Wesley had a 1st and goal at the 9.  Repeated procedural calls pushed them all of the way back to the 40 and they had to punt.  Wow......

Wesley is leading 56-9 and at the end of the 3rd quarter and Wesley has been hit for 16 penalties and 147 yards.....

Rowan leads CNU 10-0 at half.  If Rowan wins Wesley can win the NJAC by winning out and Salisbury beating CNU.  Need to avoid 3 way tie since who knows how that would play out.  CNU making mistakes and Rowan still struggling on offense.  Not sure where the CNU offense came from against Wesley, but they have not looked very good the last 2 weeks.

The win by Rowan certainly creates the foundation for the NJAC circus tent!  ;)

Wesley's playoff hopes get a boost from Rowan. Like Ski said the penalties were very concerning. Ive never seen a 3rd and goal from the 40. Yeesh.

In what I watched of the Rowan game, it seemed that the Rowan QB forced quite a few passes into coverage. It will be interesting to see Rowan's O vs. Wesley's D in that future matchup.

Ugh.

ugh is right.  where is the team that beat Wesley?  I watched some of the TCNJ game and all of last nights game and the offense looks stale.  Rowan is not very good on offense as you can tell by the total yards on offense last night, but they do play a pretty strong defense.  CNU fell victim to, IMO, the worst rule in any sport, the fumble through the end zone going to the other team.  I still don't understand how it works, but if they would have fumbled on the sideline at the 1 they would have had the ball.  How is that any different than the fumble going through the end zone, the opposing team did not recover it, so why do they get it?  Big game this week for both CNU and Wesley.  I will be interested to see how Rowan does against Salisbury this week.  Montclair losing to Willie P looks bad for Montclair and kills there chances.  Rowan has put themselves back into it with the win yesterday and win the league if they win out.  Salisbury and Rowan are the only teams that do not need help to win the NJAC, they win out the win it.  Being in a league is fun with different games to pay attention to each week.

No doubt!  This is a  real first for all of us Wesley fans even with the ACFC background (of like 4 to 5 teams).  It really adds to our season to watch these other critical NJAC games and not from just an academic point of view either.  Nice!

A bye week is perfect for CNU right now. Time to take a deep breath, make some tweaks, and come out swinging. Time to "Right The Ship!" I'm feeling good overall about the season and the team. I might even make the Frostburg game just to get a break from normal weekend routine. I need a break from the madness!
