"Speaking" of the Rowan video feed...that was one clear picture AND it is free unlike some NWC schools.

One of the best feeds I have seen for Division III.

Looks like it's going to take at least one or two more polls before Wesley can climb back into the Top 25. I would think they can handle Montclair next weekend setting up a Route 13 Rivalry/NJAC Championship. I really do not know what to make of the Wesley-Salisbury matchup yet. No idea who is the favorite.

In other news, Joe Callahan was waived by the Saints due to injuries. It is reported that they want him back on the practice squad, so if he clears waivers, it would seem that he has options available.

early feel on the Salisbury game is that Wesley, without turnovers will be able to outscore Salisbury.  How they gave up 34 points to Rowan is beyond me.  Also, Wesley usually finds a way to shut down the option.  Someone posted that the starting QB for the Gulls may have been injured at the end of the game yesterday, that would make a huge difference as they lost to Rowan without him and the starting running back.  Still worried about the pass coverage, but unless Salisbury changes their game plan and throws the ball more than normal Wesley should win the game.

I have to travel to Rowan tomorrow with the kids high school Marching Band for the state championships.  God I hate Rowan. ;D

KS

Spent a half day at Rowan today.  I was really surprised how much the school and campus has changed.  It has been close to 15 years since I was last there.  The Warren Hills band took 5th out of 12 in their group.  Best score of the year.  It was a good trip and nice day except for the wind.  I think the people at the concession stand knew I went to JCSC/NJCU they ignored me and then when I ordered my overpriced cheeseburger and coffee served everyone around me first.  I joked with the girl about it and said they took so long because I went to NJCU.  She laughed and said if she knew that she would have ignored me completely.  I hate those guys.

I am slightly concerned because of the fact that Wesley gave up 38 to Salisbury last year. I do not think that Wesley's D has changed all that much since then.

I Think Wesley's defense is getting pretty dialed in at this point.  If they can keep mistakes to a minimum, I feel that the Wolverines can take out Salisbury.  If they are going to fumble the ball and commit penalties, well, all bets are off.  Gotta say though that it seems that Wesley has been working on its discipline issues as of late.   I wasn't feeling that warm fuzzy after the second loss, but  here we are.  It is all up to Wesley closing out the season to grab the NJAC title.

Always worry when the defense can't pass cover very well.  That is even more worrisome when you have to sell out so much on the run when playing Salisbury and the option.  I am not sure about dialed in, the offenses they have played the last few games are not close to what Salisbury is going to bring.  Penalties and turnovers will be the key in the Gulls game.  Wondering if there was an injury to the starting QB for the gulls last week, and if so how serious it is.  That would be really big in this game.  The Gulls struggled against Rowan when the QB and starting running back were out.

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised CNU lost at Frostburg...their offense has fallen off a cliff for some reason!?!?  However, CNU did have more total offense than Frostburg...the Bobcats were able to make a few more plays to put some points on the board.  On the bright side, CNU's defense seems to be playing pretty well...they'll need a heck of an effort against Salisbury on Saturday, and the Captains will need to find their offense to have a chance.

Callahan got picked up by the Browns..... not sure whether I should be excited or scared for him lol. Either way, he made enough noise in the preseason to get noticed by multiple teams. Great work Joe!

Gotta be impressed. No doubt!  :)  Good news though.  The NFL is the NFL no matter what team you are on.

Hey Brown fans do exist, they can easily win 10 straight and hopefully complete the trifecta if the Indians were to win the World Series.

Callahan should be comfortable with the Browns. They have a DIII quality O-line. Probably why they've had 5 QBs get hurt so far this year.
