I like the idea of CNU being able to schedule another good out of conference opponent...makes the season more interesting to me.

Agreed

It's official!  Joe Callahan is now Hundley's back up at Green Bay.

A nice little write-up!

Great news for Joe! I'd imagine this'll be the closest he's been to the field since he signed on with the Browns.

He did play in the preseason.  Not much, but he did play.  Last year made his career for sure!

Good luck to Callahan. He is a good story and deserves more. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Good Luck to the young man. That is a bittersweet statement since he played for our rival. However, we are all DIII supporters and want players from DIII to perform well, especially when they get the opportunity to play in the NFL.

Looking for the offense to try some different things against So. VA this weekend so that Rowan and our old ACFC rivals have something to think about when looking a film. The offense has to finish drives or come up with something that allows us to convert 3rd and longs. Defense can't allow those momentum drives either, we have to call timeouts and nip them in the bud or schematically change something. However, Defense has lead this team this year. Looking of "W" in the win column this weekend. As always good luck to both teams and an injury free game.

Looking to see that Wesley's offense is starting to get things moving against a pretty good Rowan defense.  Rowan is not very good on offense which is why I do not see this game being close at all.  Wesley should win this game, but Rowan has usually played them close.

Bartman

Not to root against Hundley, but it would be great to see Joe Callahan get into the game and win it for the Pack. Good luck to Joe representing D3 in the NFL ;D

Yeah, I don't see a problem either but I hope to see two halves of a game because with CNU and Salisbury coming up, you have to play a full 60 minutes to win.

Nice start.  Force punt.  i play 40+ yard TD run for EJ Lee and Wesley is up 7-0.  Too easy?  Hopefully they just lay a whoopin on Rowan and move on to next week.

wesleydad

Near end of first half and EJ Lee with his 3rd TD and Wesley leads 20-3.  Doing what they have to do.  Finish the game strong and no injuries.

wesleydad

Nice win by Wesley.  Dominated the game from play 1.  34-3.  Rowan is not very good and the offense is bad.  Wesley defense is improving each game.  Montclair next week.  Get it done.

Teamski

Pretty good win.  The Rowan's defensive line was effective at times though.  Rowen didn't help themselves with the goodly number of personal fouls.  Wesley was pretty disciplined today.  The box score is broke showing Wesley with 7 penalties for 125 yards....eh no.  Need to keep Burroughs passing no more than 20-30 yard passes max.  If he keeps it up, E.J. Lee will break Pennewell's consecutive 100 yard game team record (It is 8 or 9 games).
