A great interview of Coach Drass by Frank Rossi in the D3Football Podcast this week.  It reminds me why I love Wesley so much.  So easy to be a fanboy of such a great coaching staff that has been together for decades headed by the man himself.

As I mentioned in the ERFP, Salisbury is improving and has improved IMHO every week. I look forward to a tough fought game between the Route 13 rivals this week. Playoffs has already started for both teams and each team knows what at hand. I believe if we can limit the big plays and capitalize (score) in the red zone and make it slow paced game and not put the ball on the ground giving Wesley as th great field position, we have a good chance. Otherwise, Wesley can light it up in a hurry and totally demoralize you. One thing I am impressed with this season  I am sure there will be some more friendly chatter throughout the remainder of the week. One thing to note is that both defenses are good, however looking at comparable opponents, Wesley has given up a little less than a FG while Salisbury has given up a little less than a TD, while both average more than 5+ TD's.

Wesley has been able to slow down the best of Salisbury offenses in the past so I expect them to be able to stop this version.  Salisbury has shown improvement on defense so they may be able to stop the Wesley offense.  In the end Wesley is better and should win the game.  Only the second game I will be attending this year.  Looking forward to it.

Looking at the boxscore from last year,  Wesley really controlled that game and had a 44-13 lead up until 3:15 remaining in the ballgame where Salisbury would tack on 2 scores late. Hoping that Burroughs can see more of the field in this game. Missed several open receivers vs. Rowan and Montclair.

I only know one version. Also, regarding who is better is in the "eye" of the beholder until Saturday.  ;D

It's Wesley/Salisbury St. week. Should be an interesting game. As Wesleydad said Wesley has had the defensive answers to Salisbury Sts. offense.for the last few years.
I don't think SSU can keep Wesleys offence from scoring.
Let's go Wesley! Let's win a game

Wesley will have to play two halves of the game to win.  If they sleep walk the first half like they did at Del Val, then they will end up being in trouble.  That said, the defense has been keeping Wesley on track and I don't think Salisbury's triple option can do anything new that it hasn't tried in the past.  The Sea Gulls have tried to mix it up in the past and have had mixed results.  They tend to introduce some pass plays to juke the Wesley defense in backing off the line.  It has worked up to a point, but when it did, it was because Salisbury had the personnel to pull it off (for a half at least until the defense made its adjustments).  The trouble is, is that Coach Drass and company have seen it all thus far.  The Wesley interior line will get tested to be sure, but I expect them to be ready to plug the holes.  Regardless, it will be one tough ass game and we know Salisbury will play with everything its got.

Man, you know the Scott D. Miller stadium is going to be packed this weekend!  Seriously, Salisbury is going to pack the stands for the Route 13 Rivalry.  I love it when you have people lining the fences around the field.  That kind of energy is amazing.  Just saying.

Geez, CNU has really tanked...is it basketball season yet?  It looks like replacing Kearney backfired...39 yards rushing as a team and 7 sacks?!?!  That's pitiful...the OL is really bad...hey, at least the Cowboys beat the Redskins!

GO CAPS!
