Looks like the weather will be in the upper 40's in Brockport for Saturday with a chance of rain.  At least we aren't looking at a big difference in temperatures between here and New York so practice should be climate friendly.

Not sure you want the reverse , though ......seriously, good luck to the Wolverines, this should be a great game, as a D3 football fan I want both these teams to play their best "all day long", so there is no doubt in the outcome and the best team advances....I think the East may have a chance this year

wesleydad - It's playing out for Wesley just like I told you after DelVal's season opening win. The Falkenberg injury turned out to be the best thing that happened (not on the human level of course, just on the field) and that with Burroughs, Lee, All-American's at OT and back at WR and a huge, fast, loaded defense.......................I'd be stunned if Wesley didn't make it to the national semifinals.

Fast forward a couple months later and it has played out just as I expected. The two pre-selection show brackets that had Wesley going to Mount Union in the second round were wrong and as I also said, no team not named UMHB or Mount Union (I think that I threw John Carroll in there as well) beats Wesley THREE TIMES IN LESS THAN 15 MONTHS.................and that's what DelVal would have to do if they get by Husson and that horse of a running back.

My post-DelVal, Wesley to the National Semifinals prediction is looking better every day.

IF they play 4 quarters of ball.  Any sleepwalking and this journey ends.  I make no predictions as Wesley is truly a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde team this year.   Wesley must stay close in the first half to have a chance to win this one.  Brockport isn't going to wait up for them.   Wesley has the ability to get to the semis, but they have to employ that ability on every down and every quarter to get there.  We are getting into rarefied air.

Don't expect anyone here to say they won't.  It will be a tough game, but I will say that Wesley has better talent on board than Brockport.  As mentioned, if Wesley puts together a 4 quarter game that they are capable of, they win.  Period.
