A thousand apologizes. Never knew this happened but, if it did, I think I know who it was. We have tried to put a lid on these guys for years. They're just plain jerks.
I'm Mount Union class of 1957. Yes, I'm still rah rah, but hopefully old enough to treat others with respect. I have always enjoyed talking to people from the other schools.
So again, I apologize for doubting you and apologize for the mentally challenged in our midst.
Good luck to Wesley next year. We all know they'll be back!

No need to apologize!  You just have to have your head on a swivel when in Alliance that's all! (or when at a Philadelphia Eagles game!)

So, are you saying there is a similarity between Mount Union and the Philadelphia Eagles?
Wow! Who would have thunk it. Sure, Mount's good but............
Oh. The swivel heads. Never mind!
I'm old! I get mixed up and I forget things! Go Everybody! 🏈 ☠

So much more fun hanging here than the OAC board ... can understand why MUC57 is here.

Except for some of the worst fog I've ever had to drive thru, and the weirdly racist person who accosted me in the McDonald's there, Frostburg is a really cool place to visit.  So what is it that the Road Warriors have this year that should give Mount pause?  Cox is good, but can spray a little.  Good rushing D.    But didn't just beat Witt and W&J but did so convincingly.  Something magical there.  So what is going on?

Looking for a good game this weekend.  Travel safe.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Frostburg state fans.

Congrats on your first two playoff wins. You can stop now. Just kidding. Or am I?
Seriously folks, looking forward to Saturday. This will be Mount's toughest test of the year. I watched the highlight video of thr W&J game. I was impressed. Good QB, some speed and the usual big guys. The Raiders will have to be sharp or....(I don't want to think about it)!
I'm looking forward to meeting some Bobcat fans in Alliance. Safe travels and good luck.

Mom, nothing they do stands out as killer, but they do most things well and do not quit.  Wesley went up 21-7 and was inside the 10 before a fumble at the 3.  Next play Frostburg breaks 80+ yard run, score quickly.  Shut down Wesley and end up in OT.  I think they benefited from who they played and think that if Wesley was where they are Wesley would be headed to Alliance this week also.  I don't think they can beat Mount, but I want to see how the handle the experience.  I hope they put up a good battle because I think the top 4 teams in the East this year were pretty good.  Maybe not winning the whole thing, but all fit in the next level.  Enjoy the game, hopefully it will be a good one.

Good Luck to Frostburg St, you guys have been playing well. Play inspired and seize the moment. I think you guys can shock the world. Haven't watch much of the Mount, but the Case Game and I am sure you are a couple touchdowns better and better on defense. Keep it close and maybe pull it out with a big play here and there.

dlippiel

Best of luck to Frostburg this weekend. What a great season. dlip is hoping for a solid showing from FS on Saturday. They seem to be peaking at the right time however dlip is aware that one could have said that about many Mount opponents before they squared off with the Big Purple!

A guided tour through the Gunter Hotel, including the basement, ESPECIALLY including the basement, is a must while you're there.  Interesting place and the owner is super-friendly.

Cumberland's pretty cool to the east, as long as you consider getting lost in town not as an annoyance . . . but as an adventure.

Even Grantsville to the west has a couple neat places.

Good luck to Frostburg tomorrow.  Stick to your game plan and give 'em hell!

I know for a fact if Brockport didn't score so many points last week Wesley could've beaten them. If Wesley played DVC this week, they'd win. If Frostburg played Brockport, Wesley would have won. If it snowed in September on a Wednesday while fire trucks ran out of gas in Michigan, Wesley still wins. No matter what happens Wesley would have and should have won every game they played or didn't play.

Not sure who/what this is aimed at, but I think it's a little bit of misguided potstirring. If you're referring to wesleydads assessment of Frostburg, he's one of the most knowledgeable posters on the boards and gives a fairly even assessment of how good teams are.

Besides, Wesley beat Frostburg, so it's not totally unreasonable to presume Wesley would be in Alliance if they switched places with Frostburg.

Sorry for any confusion. I thought I addressed things quite clear at the onset of my post when I mentioned that 'I know for fact.'  I speak in facts and static outcomes  only as I'm a huge fan of math and science.

Thanks Jason for the score correction.
