After seeing time as a freshman, Salisbury University sophomore QB Jake Lanham has taken the reins of the Sea Gulls' triple-option offense. Read about his preparation for the role & the team's hot start to the season.

So we are losing two teams after this year correct? Southern Virginia and Frostburg, I wonder what teams are being considered to enter the NJAC?

My guess would be to starting looking for 3 Out of Conference games. E8, LL, MAC and some New England teams.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

I hate playing that game, I like an auto bid in a power conf, so perhaps a one loss 2nd place team gets an at large...ugh...

Eight teams is still enough for an automatic bid.

Rowan recently added a very promising prospect - a D2 RB transfer  8-)

Given the stable of RBs at Rowan, including 2 seniors and 2 promising sophomores, I can't imagine he'll crack the depth chart this season, but potentially next year!

Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Any predictions?  In the game notes, I was surprised to see that, on average, SVU is bigger than MSU in the trenches.  SVU gave Rowan a fight last week in nasty weather.

Ugh I hate predictions because I don't want to give my guys the maloik lol...Our D Line might not be as big but these boys are quite fast, my prediction is this, if we play the way we did against Salve minus the penalty's, we will win this game.

So is Frostburg looking for a game for the 29th?  I though the CNU game was postponed? Salisbury and Kean are still on for the original scheduled time. I am indifferent about this game, I know my Gulls have the scheme, but Kean has always been tough outing for Salisbury, we never really can say "this is going to be an easy W".  Hopefully we don't have the numerous turnovers  like in the 1st quarter, we have start fast and then finish.

Since Frostburg and CNU have diff bye weeks, there's no way this game is "postponed". It's canceled. It would take a major rework of both schedules and all those teams on their schedules. Since the playoffs are the week after the regular season, it's just not going to happen. I don't know why they used the word postponed.

And actually, as it has turned out down here, Newport News is fine. The campus could have remained open. But better to be cautious. And right now CNU is home to one of 2 state run shelters and base for rescue/recovery ops. The campus is swamped with generator trucks, National Guard and State Police.

Right, the only way it could have been postponed was to Sunday or something like that.

Both CNU and FSU has tried to work with opponents within the NJAC and (FSU) trying to find a game to take the place of this game. It's not going to happen. FSU has to win the conference to make the playoffs. Looks like the playoffs starts in week 3 for the bobcats.

Yeah, that does suck for both teams.
