I was taking a look at FSU football media guide (which BTW is top notch), I didn't realize the Bobcats played in so many close NJAC games (e.g., CNU, Kean, Salisbury).  Seems like FSU had a backup QB playing against Kean, and Salisbury is just a tough school year in and year out.

Last season our starter was hurt for the Kean Game and wasn't fully healthy until the W&J playoff game.

They do have a nice media guide. There must be a formal template in the world of media guides. For your reading pleasure.....

I was wondering how much it would roughly cost a school to give each athlete the same dress shirt / tie for the picture day - I estimate it could be upwards of $9000

120 * $50 shirt = $6000
120 * $25 tie = $3000

Likely response from the athletic department - go ahead and wear whatever you like as long as it's nice!  ;D
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

You can buy a couple of sizes and share the shirts for the photos. That could save money. However, you will have some outliers that would not fit and the photo shoot would be ruined.

Wow, that's how much it cost to go to CNU, now I know why the facilities are great.

For 4 years, it's actually a little over $100k. About the same as SU

Ouch ... glad I went to Rowan. My puny 1/2 academic scholarship and my decision to commute allowed me to graduate debt free. Between, 2004-2008, Rowan was about $7 or 8k a year for a full-time schedule. (if I recall correctly)

Granted, my college experience wasn't as fun as others, but I'm glad with my choice.

I've been fortunate to work for several great intuitions in finance with great pay, likewise the majority of my current and past colleagues come from top tier schools (some from top tier MBAs - my current team has 3 Wharton MBAs), so the ROI from my little ole Rowan degree has been exceptional.
Go Rowan! Brown & Gold!

Frostburg can divvy up the football money any way the want. Most of the D2 schools in Pa. Start with seniors and  go from there. But you have to earn it so to speak. I don't know what other kind of grants that players are allowed to get from other school sources.

I cannot remember the exact cost at CNU (CNC at the time) when I attended. There were no dorms, so I lived at home. I paid as I went with money I earned working. I graduated debt free!! I want to say I paid about $1500/semester. But I'm too old to remember that far back....or is it the beer and brain cell thing that is blocking my memory? There was no football. Baseball wa sa club sport that only started my last year. Basketball was the sport back then...and track. There may have been no dorms but we did have a campus pub and drinking age was 18.

For what it's worth

I see the discussion about college costs. I graduated from Mount Union in 1957. I paid $500 a YEAR tuition. Lived at home so didn't have to pay room and board. My summer job allowed me to make enough to pay my own way thru school. I feel sorry for today's graduates with huge debt.
That's my 2 cents.
