ECAC membership is separate from conference membership and the schools have to pay a separate sponsorship to have it. Some schools have decided it's not in their financial interest to do that.

Several NJAC members aren't in the ECAC including CNU, Rowan and Montclair State.

http://www.ecacsports.com/sports/2016/5/5/D3_Members.aspx?path=gen

I assume that's the current list of members, despite the 2016 reference in the URL. That's the list on the ECAC website.

I always thought Montclair was an ECAC member...

What a bunch of BS, we beat Wesley head on and beat Rowan soundly, a team they lose to, we take Frostburg to the wire and lose to Salisbury on a fumble after we blocked their punt to run into the endzone for the win. Last week we received a few votes for top 25, this week none but Wesley receives votes? Along with Cortland? BS

Look, this is the East this year. Everybody is like, two plays away from their season being drastically different.

Wesley, IC, Salisbury, Montclair, Cortland, Union...they've all had narrow losses where flipping the outcome of one play means *they're* in control of a Pool A bid, or the best Pool C team in the East. Likewise, both RPI and Frostburg are a play or two away from being in drastically different spots, instead of getting ready for the NCAAs.

Don't forget CNU -- 6-2 with the 2 losses to SU and Montclair in OT!  ;D ;D ;D

probably finish 6-3

Probably. Could have been 7-3 had we played that school in MD that's about to go get schooled in D2.  ;D

i wish they would have played, 10-0 is a lot better then 9-0

Well, I just got back from Wisconsin last night visiting an ailing relative and was chuckling over Wesley's victory over Salisbury in spite of itself.  I checked my wife's phone and everybody was wondering what I was laughing about.  That got a howl.  I am happy they won yet dismayed over how it was accomplished.  I have faith that a new season with a new QB will help work out the kinks that tripped up Wesley this year.  Turnovers really were the catalyst for the losses.  The Wesley secondary was awesome this year and was one of the best I have seen Wesley ever field.  The D-Line did a great job stopping Salisbury's run game, which had worried me.  So, one more game to go and Wesley can put this season behind them and look on.

....And yeah, the Salisbury/ Frostburg state is going to be a barn burner.  However, if Frostburg's defense stops the run....well,the rest is history.  I am rooting for Salisbury for the simple fact that if they win, the NJAC will snag one of those Pool C's......

I'll add offensive call sheet and the Field CB Blitzes...lol. This is just the nature of animal, we definitely have to move forward and see what we can do to get better for the upcoming Regents Cup game. I will always support them although they give me heartburn. I do believe you all are a good solid QB away from being Top 5.

CNU85 any reason why CNU has not signed up for ECAC Bowls since you are in the CAC and NJAC, which most teams are?

I seriously have no clue about that. Maybe when they were part of USA South it just didn't enter their minds. You would think they would. I will ask.

Regional rankings:
http://www.d3football.com/playoffs/2018/second-regional-ranking

Sets up well for Frostburg to have a RR win if they were to lose to the Seagulls this weekend. If Montclair continues to win they would end up maybe on the final rankings adding another RR win for Frostburg.

Stevenson, strength of schedule weaker than MSU, common opponent Frostburg, they lost 34-7, we lost 24-17, starting qb out for year, Cortland 2 losses, weaker sos, not sure what other criteria is, can someone please explain?

yea, you possibly did more homework than some of the committee members.

Perhaps I'm just letting my bias get in the way here, I just don't see the logic, head to head, strength of schedule and common opponent is what I always heard. That doesn't really seem to be the case anymore, if it was the case Montclair State would have a regional ranking.
